I love all the Pakistani foods especially halwa poor with chana Dhall the morning breakfast, and I like all kinds of Khadai meat 🍖, and also the Nihari my favourite, well anyone tell me where this place in karachi. I stayed in Karachi, Manghopir Road, near bara boat . Its just near Naziamabad, I think so. Hope to visit Pakistan very soon when our economic crisis settle down. Love Pakistan 🇵🇰 soooooo much.
Looks like boat basin to me. You know a lot about Karachi. Now it is totally changed. When you visit again, go to BBQ tonight and do Darya. Lot of new malls and food street as compared to 10 or 15 years.

*Many many people have tried this in their homes - same exact process but they can't get THAT taste.* *And the reason is, it's all in the pot used. It's some sorta, iron, steel and silver mixed material that leaves a certain taste in the food. Unless you have this pot and the dome, you won't be able to achieve this.* *Last time when I visited back home to Peshawar from United States, I especially went to a place called "Rayti Bazaar" and picked up this wok and dome lid. And we made this dish quite a few times in the park on the public grills. You light up the charcoal or wood to make the fire and then follow this simple process of frying ... and you are in heaven.*
@@WranglerDude I haven't seen it anywhere else in the world. There are many different kinds of wok and dome pots available in the US, but they all have some sorta polished surface to avoid the burn. And if you use those woks, it won't do the trick. Where you located at in the U.S.?

@@WranglerDude For green Chilies, you gotta be cautious. The one they are using in the karrahi, are not that hot. You can use Thai Green Chilies in the same quantity as shown in the video BUT, you MUST split them and take out all the hot seeds except of may be in one. What you are after is the green chili skin taste and not THAT much of a heat. Otherwise, if you leave the seeds in, it over powers the meat taste and makes you burn and hurt, "TWO TIMES" .... hehehehe And you are about 4 hours from me. Next time I visited Pakistan, (hopefully this December), I will try to grab the wok and dome for you from Peshawar.
My take on this "recipe". Chop up a chicken and deep fry it. Add tomatoes and salt, and continue frying. Throw the tomato skins on the cooker top and add some chopped green chili. Serve with naan or chapatti. No spices, garlic, onions, or ginger? Am I missing something here?
I agree, most Karahi recipes I have seen call for more ingredients. Garlic, ginger, Coriander powder, cumin, gram masala. Even yogurt towards the end. But to each there own
