- The last Captain Video Store in existence located in San Mateo, CA! I didn't edit much of the footage out. I wanted to keep it raw as a full walkthrough video of the place and me digging through the tapes. Enjoy this wonderful store and the nostalgia it brings! 37 years in business! Ira Belfer (owner) is definitely a VHS hero! 📼 I got a few short clips of him in the video.

I know with the ET tape they did the green lids for piracy issues. I guess at that point it was harder for pirates to produce the green pieces.
Ahh makes sense now, I always wondered what the green was for
Cool store.
Most of the VHS 📼 look like common titles 🎬 didn't look like anything to hard to find 📺
Yeah he said all his horror was gone years ago. Posters and tapes. All he has now are pretty much whatever people come in and donate which most of the time are commons.
look out for The Hunt for Red October (cassette is red, only some though).
Oh they got a red tape version? Will definitely start looking out for it
Really? I have a red one. I just assumed all copies of that movie were produced on red videocassette.
@@MovieVigilante yes, I've seen the common black one while Hunting for the red.
