For me it's not so much over worship that I'd say I expect a league to be better at handing out punishment than the government. It's that they aren't bound by the same legal requirements of proof and procedure for arriving to that proof. If you get evidence that proves someone guilty in court, if it wasn't obtained the right way it's thrown out and the case might get thrown out as well. That's not the case for a sports league.

Most ppl fail to realize that other's opinions are based primarily on their life experiences. Which makes sense. Someone who has been assaulted is usually more likely to side with presumed victims, someone who has been falsely accused is more likely to scrutinize evidence and slower to make a judgement on someone's guilt. The best thing people can do is to recognize biases and try to be as objective as possible. Use logic and always hear both sides of a story before making decisions.

Bro a lot of us know exactly what this entire situation is about with Deshaun Watson. Once Deshaun started 2 expose the coach and pretty much the entire front office 4 being hella racist, unreliable and working deals under the table or should I say, behind the backs of the star franchise QB and other high profile players, it really put a negative light on the coaching staff and execs and so they concocted this scheme 2 "put Deshaun back in his place" and 2 also send a message 2 other players that regardless how talented or famous they thought they were, the wyte billionaires AKA the team owners and execs still had more influence! The Texans owner is next door neighbor of the lawyer that represented many of the females that accused Deshaun...u do the math! This entire fiasco is just a modern day version of slave buck-breaking!

I grew up in a area where I've witnessed a lot of unfair and biased behaviors especially towards a certain demography. The reason why Deshaun is being attacked and his personal life as well as his career is being destroyed is b/c in the eyes and minds of certain people who feel as if their money and social status merits them control over anyone especially if they feel that they "made you" anyway, you're not supposed 2 rock the boat or cause attention 2 their racist and bigoted culture in that teams business room! Deshaun is being stripped and whipped publicly just like during chattel slavery times, they called it, "Buck breaking" back then. U take the biggest, strongest and most influential male slave, tie him him down 2 a post and beat him and sexually assault him in front of his family, friends and other male slaves 2 make him look bad, weak and dehumanized ... it's basically a PR stunt 2 destroy the character and image of the individual. They're sending a message 2 Deshaun saying, "stay in your place, boy". U best believe a lot of money has been spent 2 bring all these allegations 2 life 2 destroy Deshaun's career. He'll never play in the NFL again, these NFL owners and execs are all in cahoots with each other and they've already been hit hard by the Colin Kaepernick protests then the coach from Miami exposing them throwing games and paying coaches 2 tank... anyone who trusts anything that the NFL, the owners, the front office and execs has 2 say nowadays is not a wise person at all!

I mean he got rub and tugs and paid them. There’s a moral argument to be made but I don’t think that makes him a predator. The 20 plus number of women to come forward is pretty easy to get with the nature of the case. The comparison of the falcons receiver i don’t think is really relevant as Watson’s case doesn’t effect the integrity of the game. I think Watson has an issue with this and should not be doing this in his position. I agree with the suspension for 6 games personally. I agree with Flemo at the end though, this could escalate into more so he needs to be checked now and it’s a good thing this came out as this could have been a lot worse.

There’s also one of the victims sons came out and said that his mother only said good things until the allegations came out and she saw an opportunity, it’s just a whole big mess

I never understood why a millionaire like Watson would try to get with women in that way. I guess it’s a weird kink or something and I think some of women went with it as well…. And unfortunately his fetish almost ended his career. Human beings are weird🤦🏾

@Joey The "NINO" Burrito Yea it probably started that way but he’s an idiot for hiring “instagram models” for massages in the first half place🤦🏾

I can understand what he wanted but to do that is just too risky and now he's in this situation. Your job can get a masseuse for you or You can hire 1 or 2 personal masseuse that come to your home. To get 20+? That's crazy and for all the Reason I want to give him benefit of the doubt because court of public opinion is quick to put you down but that 20+ is what hurts

It's not weird to wanna bust on a bunch of easy "Instagram models". They literally advertise to be that. You can see in their bios. If he was going after women who didn't lack morals, and most importantly actually assault people, then this would be a different story. People are just mad cause internet culture leads to a lack of self responsibility. And I don't mean for a dude who was trying to bust without making 20 different baby mamas

@@trawill860 I see those words being repeated all the time, not guilty. That is untrue and you should stop saying them. Grand Juries do not find someone guilty or not guilty. They just found that there was not enough information presented to indict and bring the case to trial. Watson is also not being judged by the NFL on his guilt or innocence of any particular law. He is being judged by the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Not my take, I have just heard it a few times. The NFLPA threatening to sue was less about the actual case itself and more about the threat of discovery. During the discovery process of a lawsuit, either side can request info and documents. It seemed to be threatening to "air the NFL's dirty laundry" to the public during that phase. I am assuming the NFLPA is/was hoping that threat would be enough to get them to back off
