It amazes me how someone can disparage Fox News for being biased in favor of Republican (which is true, admittedly) but turn around and say that CNN is neutral and unbiased. How are so many people oblivious to CNN's left-wing bias?
Yep, I know people like that. I vote Republican and I very well know Fox News is biased. I watch about as much Fox News as I do CNN, which is to say very little. I see a few clips of each here and there. Someone at work said "Republicans have their own news network!" I said "oh yeah? What's that?" He goes "Fox News" I was just like "yeah" because he ain't wrong. Then another guy piped up and said "Democrats have their own news network too" the first guy asked "What?" and the 2nd guy goes "CNN" the first guy was like "Whatever..." He didn't believe it! He thought CNN was truthful and honest news! 🤣
Because their base is generally cognitively incompetent. I'm not just saying that to go "you're dumb because you don't agree with me," it's because it is actually very evident that they lack rational and critical thinking ability.
That’s what my uncle tells me it’s a left leaning even my mother doesn’t want to believe it... my uncle is an independent voter which makes sense on what he’s explaining... he understands the Constitution and the founding fathers documents and know that the ‘Crats are so far left that it’s unconstitutional and they don’t follow it... I understand he does his own research which isn’t that bad and understandable that there are things I’ve never heard of before on the mainstream media... he tells me that Fox, Newsmax and OAN they are right wingers but the tell you what is really going on... and he tells me to stop being a right winger and I have a hard time with that from time to time... my grandfather still watches CNN since the 80s it’s becoming a old habit and he doesn’t even know it’s declining... my uncle even knows it’s declining and I agree with him on it...
Is the CNN brand too damaged to be reused again, and the CNN will need a new name if Discovery is going to continue with this 24-hours cable news business?
They have the time and luxury to try and go back to CNN's past, and cease their corporate ties, but what CNN cannot get it back, the viewership and trust. Honestly, they should have never focus on politics without a middle ground.
My first experience with CNN was when I was 16 in 2015-2016 sitting in a Mcdonalds with my friend, when they were interviewing a Trump supporter. The interview wasn't going their way and the camera just cuts feed and the host gave a fake "oh noooo... we lost our feeds. oh well, to commercials" and I couldn't stop laughing. Thats the only thing I remember them for. There used to be compilations of them doing it on youtube, but they seems to have been wiped clean... how odd.
What is awful is that Google, Facebook and to a lesser degree Twitter are all in on this game, covering up anything that conflicts with their narrative.
I remember when Trump was still running, early in his first campaign... There was a black guy wearing a MAGA hat in the stands at one of his rallies. The reporter went to him and asked why a black guy was at a Trump rally, the man said, "I think he has a lot of good ideas, like bringing manufacturing back to the US, and stopping illegal immigration... y'know, I agree with those things..." The camera immediately cut back to the anchors at the desk, who had a look of absolute horror on their faces. After a few awkward moments one said, "We, uh.... DEEPLY apologize for that. That is NOT the opinion African Americans, uh, um... have." It was obvious that she was not apologizing to the audience, she was apologizing to the producers. That was when it clicked for me that CNN is propaganda trash.
In Nigeria, CNN used to be regarded as one of the best news networks and I used to watch them even as a teenager in the 2000s but when I noticed their coverage of stuff like America's destabilizing of Libya, under obama, was so biased that they didn't cover the fallout or the rise in slavery and terrorism as a result, I started to have doubts. Then I travelled to North America for college in 2015 and actually watched them, I was disillusioned. Gone was any of the factual and unbiased and professionalism they were known for internationally and they just came off like amateurish reality TV presenters with the bias to match. I have stopped watching CNN and any mainstream western news since.
I see another takeaway from your post; children who were born too late to watch CNN coverage live Gulf War coverage in the 90's do not grow attachments to the brand like the parents do. Their main customers are those who grew up in the 90's, but the younger audiences have drifted away and never tune on. What enter the market back in the 00's that steal CNN customers away?
I’ve literally stopped watching the news for months now, no TikTok or Twitter and blocked all news. I’ll rather be uniformed than misinformed. I feel so much better
I’m incredibly surprised none of your work had been taken off your channel by RUclips yet. The big guys aren’t gonna like you spreading so much truth. You are doing good work. Thank you for your non biased fact driven mini documentaries!
learn to read statistics and scientific papers then go crazy with libgen and sci-hub ftw no i don't think this is actually viable, go back to your favorite biased news network/totally trustworthy and perfect youtube commentator
I remember seeing some exchange between the Governor of Arizona and CNN. It went something like this: “Oh you aren’t wearing a mask?” “Yeah, well we are 6 feet apart and all. Say, can I get an interview?” “Sure, but as long as it airs on CNN plus. That still exists, right?” “*chuckle* well ah, I mean” “No it doesn’t, and thats because the people don’t like what you’re putting out, which is propaganda. Have a nice day.”
Oddly enough, when I was in high school i had to do current event articles every week for my history class. I always used CNN because they were the easiest source to access. However the more I used it, the more I realized how favorable they were being to Barrack Obama. I remember asking one of my teachers why they always covered Obama so favorably and he explained to me what media bias is and how CNN has always had a liberal skew. I remember realizing this even more so during the 2016 election. After trump won, I remember how every single pundit on CNN said "Hillary is going to be the next president" and "when trump loses in november." I will never forget that night watching all of them sitting there in shock when trump won. And how unfavorable they covered him and other conservative law makers. Today, they have nobody to blame but themselves for their downfall
@@jeancaron9325 "the CCN always favor the DEMS party over the Truth." Just as Fox always favors the GOP. It's interesting to note that CNN viewers actually seem to have reacted negatively to the station becoming more obviously biased during the Trump presidency while Fox seems to have gotten stronger even though they're every bit as biased (if not more so).
Strictly lunar landing believers. It was them who brought the CNN down because lunar landing skeptics have better news coverage than the CNN will ever have.
That's why they want to make internet only accessible for some (biased, paid, vanilla-soy) content creators and viewers. They are beginning to lie about cyber attacks - suddenly everything is being cyber attacked. No, it isn't (watch the type of things they say were attacked, they have nothing interesting, like news media, or they serve the same agenda against us: famine and slavery. They will keep lying about cyber security also "domestic terrorism, hate speech, fake news spreading" (as if freedom to speak our minds should be contained and censored...back to the dark ages) so that we consent that they make internet content censored and for controlled people only
I’m starting to feel a bit like this with BBC as well, it’s supposed to be impartial but over the last few years it had become obvious who it was running the news for, i.e. not the majority of the British population.
The covid ratings boom only set them up for a steeper decline later. People got sick of rampant editorializing on race, the pandemic, politicians etc…, and once everyone who had tuned in for up to date covid info actually watched the talking heads they realized how horrible it was, and they checked out completely.

When most people hear a company is “too big to fail”, they hear “it is unstoppable; when I hear it, all I see is a challenge someone is going to undertake sooner or later.
All I think of "inertia is a bitch". Just like a loaded semi truck uses long time to slow down, a mismanaged country takes decades to collapse and failed megacorps that go bankrupt are the ones that made fatal mistakes a decade earlier.
Something I pointed out to my mother, who’s a diehard Democrat, way back in 2020, whenever they would have Joe Biden on the mic the audio levels would be fine. Anytime they had Bernie, his mic levels were hotter than the sun making him sound even crazier than normal. All she was willing to say was “Well that is kinda weird!”, no mother it’s not weird, it’s manipulative.
You can just ask any Fox news viewer if Fox is biased to the right they will say yes. You ask the CNN if they are biased to the left they will deny it.
Fox is less biased than CNN to their respective side, they still criticize someone from the GOP if they feel that's neccesarry, i dont think i ever see CNN did the same until recently
@@curiodyssey3867 That's a very small minority of people, while there's tons of people who deny or denied CNN lies and bias, until recently. I've never met a person who said Fox isn't biased but I've met over 10 people who say CNN doesn't lie and has almost no bias. Say what you want about Fox they spin things, like most other news networks, but they don't makeup bullshit like the Russia shit that the people on the network don't even believe.
@@curiodyssey3867 it’s pretty much because you Americans have a 2 party system. So when one side gets there way for a while like Obama every normal thing has run out. But you can’t agree with the other side and your governments pulled the pendulum over so normal is now right wing. So you get extreme leftism and then the right wing is common sense. And it makes cnn ect clearly bias. And then the right wing pulls it back because the common sense people can see what’s happening. And then usually it’d have to be pulled back over. But trump was a wild card and threatened the political circles. Basically the game changed from media (news, social media, Hollywood ect. And everything that comes from fame money so stocks or say getting elected) and trump basically stood for the more honest simple money (labour, factories, hotels, restaurants. The stuff where you see price. Give the owner your money. And you get a service instead of the invisible worth of fame). You can tell why they wanted him out. Especially news and social media. He almost actually brought change. Idk if it’s for the best but I don’t even live in America and even I can see the imbalance and total lockdown commercialism and media/fame has on your culture.
To be clear there are a variety of reasons people disliked Hillary, not just her being a boring career politician. Her poor handling of Benghazi, corruption, perceived health problems, and how completely out of touch she seemed. She's also always been very pro war, and many Americans are tired of being involved in long drawn out conflicts.
Another thing is: What were her policies? She was always playing catch up to Trump. Trump dominated coverage so much that the election was pretty much "Trump, with his policies of Build the Wall and Make America Great Again" vs "The Lady that isn't Trump."
Hillary lost when she said such incredibly cringeworthy things like "Pokémon Go To The Polls" and made that hilariously bad Instagram vid where she had a bottle that said "Chillary Clinton" and how she was 'chilling in Cedar Rapids' or whatever. Trump had a very strong meme game which resonated well with younger audiences while Hillary was laughed at across the board. And this comes from someone who doesn't even really like Trump anymore.
Yeah and news networks like CNN that took the stance of being anti-trump propaganda machines they would also downplay or ignore any sort of controversies the Clintons we're involve in, just showing off there bias even more.
Because honesty and discretion affects credibility, once people call you out in your lies then the basis you founded yourself on collapses leaving the business crumbling
For me, I'm old enough to remember the little girl that fell down the small drain tube. And CNN was the only channel that covered it until she was recovered. Any one else remember that? I agree with the info and views shared here. Please keep up the good work. Thanks.
I think the main problem with modern journalisms is the fact that they have an agenda and a political compass, journalism in my opinion should always be independent from political views.
It's tricky when money gets involved. To increase the effectiveness of the reach and production costs of their goals. That paradigm is slowly shifting but unfortunately it's inevitable that biases will seep in eventually. I think it is possible to be mostly nuetral with news but it would take a lot of prolonged vigilance.
@@booleah6357 That's why so many are turning to independent or individual reporting of events, they're not free of bias but they also dont have the resources to push a pre cooked narrative.
I think its impossible now buddy. If you arent putting out a bias then you arent a journalist anymore. It's disgusting how low we as people have fallen. Frankly I'd gladly take a news site that chooses to say "fuck you both we are against you both since its clear you're both actually really shotty people", and show how corrupt the world has turned, and try to create the revolution that will bring down the rulers once and for all.
Attempts have been made to launch neutral news shows but they don't do that well. People want news programming that tells them what they want to hear. CNN had such high ratings during Trump's presidency because it made them feel better about Hillary's loss to be told by CNN that Russia rigged the election. It didn't matter that it wasn't true. It felt good.
It absolutely blows my mind that I, who is a registered nurse with absolutely no business background, can understand that alienating half of the country politically to the point where they refuse to watch your network is a bad idea just from a revenue standpoint, but the leadership at CNN doesn't see this as an issue even while they're brand is falling apart.
Historically, news shows weren’t expected to make money. They were sort of a public service done by media companies to, “give back.” Once money got involved, we got what we have now.
I never left the left. The left left me. In other words as someone who is more center-left (Or far right to today's standards) I noticed quickly how many outlets got on this wild super corporate liberal stuff. It's extremism with suit and tie.
It's funny. If I decry the political influence of Wall Street bankers, if I refuse to support American intervention in Afghanistan or Ukraine by citing the role of the Military-Industrial Complex, if I state my disgust with a political system dominated by wealthy elites, if I call out corpo-wokeism as a shameless cash grab and a targeted attempt to break popular opposition to these same wealthy elites through identity politics, I am derided as a far right extremist. Fine I guess. I'm a Far Right extremist. If they want what I want, then I guess I'll go sit in their camp. Later losers.
The American "left" aka the democratic party isn't left wing at all. In any other developed nation it would be considered a centrist party. It platforms on things like healthcare for all that's present in all of Europe already, then when it gets power can only make things like Obamacare which is a pale imitation of real socialized healthcare. Curious, what are your actual views on stuff like universal healthcare, high taxing of the rich, etc.?
Both fox and CNN have evolved to represent the very parties they favor, now their own logos even say that much. They also represent the division that has occured and currently ongoing on a global scale.
2 party system is meant to divide everyone, when it should be Us vs The Rich Elite who get away with everything. But Democrats are too busy crying over gay jokes, and Republicans cry over seeing gay people on TV
@@ghostridertom Which is surprising since Fox is nearly the only game in town for conservative cable news outlet, while liberal news have 5-6 channels fighting for the same pie. Logic dictates that liberal channels will have to work harder and offer better products thanks to the cutthroat competitions, but it does not work like that in reality. Why?
I feel like the decline in viewer ship was when they literally reported on the January 6th "iNsURreCtiOn" literally every day for a full year. I'm not even kidding, they reported on that at least once everyday for almost, if not exactly 365 days
@@SudrianTales Yes, your right, insurrections against police stations (a governmental form of authority) and other government buildings such as courthouses happened all throughout the summer of 2020, but the news barely made so much as a peep, and I can only imagine why. "Peaceful protest" my ass, saying that the whole system has to be torn down and rebuilt seems pretty insurrectiony to me
CNN's brand has no way back, because if they become unbiased, it wouldn't be a honest change, people already know they would be doing it for the money, not for the principle. Also, people already found alternative and independent news, who speaks sincerely and connects with the audience
Ikr, then those very ppl defend them and say "why would they lie to us?" Or "its the news, so it must be true" but in actuallality, the media is in bed with every government getting paid to lay out agendas and talk about only what the governments wants us to know
@@Revan229 It's not the government that controls the media but the media that controls the government. The government is after all elected by the people. Thus those who control the minds of the people control the government.
My only experience with cnn is that internet historian video about them doxing someone for making a meme about them and a bunch of people trying to troll their appstore ratings and saying the victim was only 15 to troll them.
if there is one thing that i learned from this video, it is the fact that any news channel name/mention in thumbnail or title....it takes a sweet spot in the recommended page for a LONG time. the algorithm was written in favor to the traditional media
It's amazing how you can only known about channels and content criticizing and going in-depth over political topics through the algorythm in the recommended videos tab. I can't search for any political topic to see essay videos, you'll always end up with endless content from mainstream media... It's big waste of money and time, the majority won't watch these garbage videos...
Don't watch any news media that is owned by a corporation. Warner, Fox, Comcast (owns NBC and Sky News in the UK), Paramount, or Disney, to name a few (though there aren't many others). Support public broadcasters instead. They tend to be more independent and have less commercials because they're funded by taxes/donations/TV licenses.
@@WarpSonic public broadcasting can be biased toward its government, but you can be aware of that and still reap the benefit that they're not out for profit or to make shareholders happy.
@@krunkle5136 gotcha. that's a good point. government-controlled media is a big problem in almost every dystopia though, and for good reason. two-party politics help with that though. on the other hand, the profit model is also the reason CNN is collapsing because people have noticed the issues and are jumping ship, giving CNN less business, so the profit model in broadcasting isn't entirely bad as different stations compete for viewers who will prefer accurate (if not non-partisan) reporting.
I remember cenk from the young Turks saying that CNN had the right to release his personal info. He also said what CNN threatened to do wasn’t doxxing.
The best image that exemplified how they lost trust is when the caption below the on field reporter stated "peaceful protests" while standing in front of a burning building.
Zucker already got laid off once before we was recruited by CNN back in 2011. NBC threw him out after he failed to create the better show to replace Desperate Housewives. And now Discovery threw him out too. Any other channel out there want to make it three out of three? Is this some kind of the organization curse; always pay top dollars for wash-up has-been from other networks?
Mostly agree, but I'm not sure about Moon's suggested solution: go back to unpartisan reporting. Going back to unpartisan reporting sounds great in theory, but in practice, there's a whole lot of issues nowadays where you have to say "this is true and this is false" and in doing so, you're perceived to have taken a left-vs-right position. For example, either you support the narrative that Trump colluded with Russia / 6 Jan was an insurrection / jabs are safe / the last election was stolen / etc, or you don't. And in doing so, you instantly become either left-wing or right-wing in the eyes of most people.
Anyone who criticizes CNN is considered "right wing" which is a problem because it makes them look like the "villains" when they are calling out fake news.
Thats not true. You'll just rarely see any criticism from the general left because they won't call out their own. But right wing and center/independents have been calling out CNN for a long time now. Even liberals that haven't gone off their rocker have joined in.
Don't try to save these companies or redeem them. Let them die. Let new companies take their place and gain a new reputation. One that isn't tarnished, and one that has an opportunity to acknowledge when they make mistakes and course correct when it happens. It's too late for CNN NBC, and even Fox, and many others. Start over.
I remember when Ted Cruz was destroying Chris Cuomo on CNN a couple years ago, and that segment got deleted, and videos came out making it look like Chris was destroying Ted. Of course people were calling those youtubers out for lying.
What a compelling and well put together video. Ironically THIS is real journalism. It makes me sad to see boomers like my parents still watch CNN (well, they don't really watch it, I don't think anyone does anymore) but sometimes it just ends up on the TV anyway. I asked my Dad why he would watch something that was so blatantly biased and filled with propaganda when that was always his criticism with FOX news. His response was, "Oh, no, CNN is one of the good ones, they're pretty unbiased." Who told you that, Dad? CNN? It's especially noticeable with the older generations that actually watched CNN back when it did actual reporting - and I think they just never noticed how dramatically it has shifted to a total clown show. Nobody under the age of 50 pays CNN any attention, and I think the only reason people in that demographic even watch is because unlike the younger, more tech savvy generations, they don't really know how to search for alternative forms of information. We have the internet and therefore access to the entire world of news and opinions, whereas they still watch cable news which itself is obsolete and dying, much like mainstream media is. I think the problem will solve itself in a relatively short period of time. I hate to say it, but people that are my Dad's age and older probably won't be here for much longer, and once they're gone there will be absolutely nobody giving CNN any views, at which point they'll finally lay down in the proverbial grave that they have been desperately trying to claw their way out of for the last 5 years. Thanks for making this video. I really wish I could get my Mom or Dad to sit down and watch it, but they have no interest in trying to change their opinions and it's not worth it to try and force that on them. It's not their fault they are misinformed, and the last thing I want is to spend the remainder of my relationship with my parents trying to convince them that they've been brainwashed by giant media conglomerates. Whenever my Dad brings up something political I just smile and nod and pretend like I agree.
@@Pineapple_hozy No. I'd co sidereal myself a conservative and still don't watch fox news, not as biased S CNN but they still report mainly the failures of the left and not the right. Democrats and Republicans ATM isn't doing anything for help get the American economy back together.
I remember when I got into politics, I would tune into CNN to watch around 2007-2008. Fox News was known to be the major biased network, so they had a lot of trust from me. The trust was shattered when I realized they did nothing but shill for Obama his entire presidency. Whatever you think of Obama as a president, the media are supposed to be the skeptics, the ones asking the tough questions and probing with a neutral questioning bias of every decision. CNN was all favorable and I think that caused more resentment than anything, and it sure did in me.
So, following your logic, it’s ok for FOX to be the propaganda shrill for right-wing politics; ok for a Glen Beck calling Obama a racist; ok to spread Birtherism lies and so on, but how dare CNN not tow the line?
I love how in your video you break down the history of how CNN started because I never got to know the old CNN. In 2015 when the election with trump vs Clinton was going on my grandmother who I live with would be glued to the screen watching CNN and she would watch it almost all day everyday. CNN was her go to show and she would sit in her chair all day and watch CNN and talk about how much she hated trump. Whenever we would want to watch something else she would sometimes be selfish and hog the TV and wouldn't allow us to change the channel. All of the biased and all of the endless and annoying scandals it was sickening. My grandmother would just sit in our den of the house and watch it only changing the channel to view talk shows or dramas. I would ask her why do you have to always watch the news and she would say "because I want to know what's going on in the world" which was always stupid to me because all CNN talks about now is Trump not non biased politics It's just scandals about Trump and other overly biased political issues. My grandmother is so consumed and brainwashed by CNN it's annoying and sad. I can't even stand to see CNN on the TV when I'm around her or not around her I just always want to turn it off and keep it off forever. I'm glad the ratings for CNN are down.
Same situation with my dad. Despite CNN being caught lying about everything, he would say “but fox isn’t even considered a news channel.” Yeah neither is CNN😂
Damn, I do remember the Russian agent thing. I was in San Diego at the time and the house owner was a nice old lady, but she was BRAIN WASHED by CNN, she thought that Trump is some sort of comic book villain. I just stared at the TV thanking that I wasn’t born in CALI☠️
How the fuck is a news organization averaging less viewers than like 20 streamers? 💀 Ibai, Miz, xqc, asmongold, tommyinnit, Train, etc. average six figure viewers some months.
There are a entirely different beast! Most people who watch the news care about the world around them. While most people who watch steamers only watch them for fun or to keep their mind off of bad news. I am thinking on making a news show on my own and trust me it will have different viewer ship compared to the reviewers I posted
I remember as far back as 1999 when they had more opinions and conspiracy theories than actual news reporting. Even then, the real news is barely 15 minutes long and would be replayed at least 4 times a day.
@N A it's more of a hook in the water 🪝 That's exactly what it is though . The guy hasn't been president for a while now and he's on cnn every night . I voted for Obama twice , don't tell me things about myself that you don't really know .

I want to know what's up with the war and the border , not what the last president and his family have been up to . Hunter Biden laptop....... in case you want to know where I'm coming from
It's so sad for the new CEO since he seems to want not only to restore CNN's image but also to respect the first CEO's vision which is uncover the truth above everything else and it's just too late due the channel's prior actions to even begin to achieve that, it's like trying to revive a burned forest by throwing water to it
Instead of resurrecting CNN, the new CEO should help with the funeral arrangements. This company took special regulations/laws/favors granted by the government to keep the public informed and lied about/corrupted/perverted/fabricated the news for their financial gain. The corporation should just be shut down and the investors handed a big stack of ZERO dollars. Or jailed. A great company that took the easy way, instead of the truthful way.
I’m from Miami, I hate CNN and Fox. And I find it insane how news outlets in AUSTRALIA can report factual and unbiased news from the United States WAAAY better than the United States.
the thing that ironically makes fox news more trustworthy is their openness to their own political bias, and a decent portion of those who watch fox check other sources to fact check and draw their own conclusion. Edit: youtube is still broken apparently, 9 hours ago there were 16 replies and rn there are 19 yet I can only see 16. if you made an argument I'm sorry and might just make a discord server or something so we can actually discuss this without youtube committing seppuku every other day
Fabulous and DEAD-ON analysis--you are 100 % correct, the damage is irreversible, they will never come back to what they were and the fact that it was all self inflicted in the name of corporate greed makes it seem like their karma caught up with them. Fantastic video; worthy of a college course on modern television journalism.
When they think it’s acceptable to make fun of a 9 year old and think that’s news because they dislike his father I lost all respect for cnn. It isn’t news anymore it’s turned into opinions. Most news sources now days are that way regardless of what you believe.
That's actually a good thing. You should never just trust anybody. Even if they mean well - they can still be wrong. What you want is different but reliable sources - that you can check against each other. There are a number of news channels on the Internet - you just need to figure out which ones aren't any good and watch the ones that are. .
@simontide780 - Yes, the ‘journalists’ at that network defamed him for one reason - *his red hat.* I watched the event from multiple angles on social media and quickly figured out EXACTLY what really happened.
You can still find CNN’s “on location” footage/coverage of the 92 Operation Desert Storm that was obviously shot on a sound stage in Atlanta, it’s comical!
It's really sad. I remember the evening Desert Storm started. I was downstairs watching the news, my parents upstairs watching the local networks for news. We knew it was coming. When it did, I went and called upstairs that it had started, my dad asked what station I was watching. "CNN" I told him. Same with 9/11, CNN was our go to network for information. I remember seeing the second plane hit the towers. On CNN. These days, I don't know that I'd believe them if they told me I needed water to live.

It's too late for CNN. They're like a cheater in a relationship, the trust is gone.
One thing you can never recover from is a loss of trust.
Rightly so
Exactly, they basically would need to rebuild as a completely different network under a different name. Start from scratch.

The reporter went to him and asked why a black guy was at a Trump rally, the man said, "I think he has a lot of good ideas, like bringing manufacturing back to the US, and stopping illegal immigration... y'know, I agree with those things..."
The camera immediately cut back to the anchors at the desk, who had a look of absolute horror on their faces. After a few awkward moments one said, "We, uh.... DEEPLY apologize for that. That is NOT the opinion African Americans, uh, um... have."
It was obvious that she was not apologizing to the audience, she was apologizing to the producers.

After trump won, I remember how every single pundit on CNN said "Hillary is going to be the next president" and "when trump loses in november." To be clear there are a variety of reasons people disliked Hillary, not just her being a boring career politician.
American soldiers don't even fight that much. You merely fund the rebel groups against whatever government you hate.

One that isn't tarnished, and one that has an opportunity to acknowledge when they make mistakes and course correct when it happens. It's too late for CNN NBC, and even Fox, and many others. Start over.
Reporting on the news is so necessary. Fascinating, unbiased, presentation.
I lost trust in CNN when I started actually watching full segments of what Trump said vs the edited footage and commentaries they put out.
I remember when Ted Cruz was destroying Chris Cuomo on CNN a couple years ago, and that segment got deleted, and videos came out making it look like Chris was destroying Ted. Of course people were calling those youtubers out for lying.
remember when they lied about nick sandman ???
Same here exactly…very easy to verify
Trump lies about everything all the time....why would they give a liar more coverage
The full segments were even worse, lmao
I'm glad you mentioned Bernie. It's not talked about enough how the media screwed him.
But I would like to know is there still credible media channels for you? (Not only western)
They're not as bad as people make them out to be. Fox is the closest to state run (Repub) Soviet propaganda news as it gets. It's incredible
@@Pineapple_hozy Fox is pretty great if make logical leaps based on their bias when you hear a story from them. Better than CNN!
@@Pineapple_hozy No. I'd co sidereal myself a conservative and still don't watch fox news, not as biased S CNN but they still report mainly the failures of the left and not the right. Democrats and Republicans ATM isn't doing anything for help get the American economy back together.
Damn, and I thought all old people watched Fox 😆 Talk about a paradigm shift
The sooner this "Cesspool" turns OFF-THE-LIGHTS a final time, the better this world will be.!!!
Makes me grateful my grandma only watched local news, and only for 30 minutes or so
Do you have a hammer? Good, all you need is some physical force and no more CNN.
Same situation with my family
Same situation with my dad. Despite CNN being caught lying about everything, he would say “but fox isn’t even considered a news channel.” Yeah neither is CNN😂
My grandfather still watches CNN... tries I might to change the channel... it never gets off the ground....
When I hear CNN I think of gossip and lies. I only watch it when all other available news channels are playing commercials or talking about sport.
It is pretty amazing at how quickly of a fall it was.
Cali has to be the most unamerican state in America.
Same with my mother
CNN is based in Georgia, I can see who is the brainwashed one, and its not your mom.
How the fuck is a news organization averaging less viewers than like 20 streamers? 💀
Ibai, Miz, xqc, asmongold, tommyinnit, Train, etc. average six figure viewers some months.
There are a entirely different beast! Most people who watch the news care about the world around them. While most people who watch steamers only watch them for fun or to keep their mind off of bad news. I am thinking on making a news show on my own and trust me it will have different viewer ship compared to the reviewers I posted
Because xqc is a cringe beta that got destroyed by andrew tate 💪
I remember as far back as 1999 when they had more opinions and conspiracy theories than actual news reporting. Even then, the real news is barely 15 minutes long and would be replayed at least 4 times a day.
By the time CNN realized that you cannot "out-crazy" MSDNC, the damage was already done.
As soon as Trump got elected , they went insane . Trump derangement syndrome really took its toll on them . I use to respect their pov .
@N A it's more of a hook in the water 🪝
That's exactly what it is though . The guy hasn't been president for a while now and he's on cnn every night .
I voted for Obama twice , don't tell me things about myself that you don't really know .
@N A yeah I know why everything is happening but why is it happening ? Lol it's so stupid. Who cares about trump . I want to know what's up with the war and the border , not what the last president and his family have been up to .
Hunter Biden laptop....... in case you want to know where I'm coming from
@N A who cares ?
@N A you seem like an npc
@N A Drinking the CNN kool-aid are we...?
This is one of the only nonbiased channels out there for reporting on massive companies and news, thanks for another banger!
How do we even salvage things now? Too many extremes, not enough objectivity.
Exactly
Two years later and CNN has not learned its lesson
I’m from Miami, I hate CNN and Fox. And I find it insane how news outlets in AUSTRALIA can report factual and unbiased news from the United States WAAAY better than the United States.
Great video! This is superior to any traditional media reporting. Watching CNN crumble has been a great pleasure over the years
As a legendary Andrew Klavan likes to call them: "CNN - the most busted name in news."
Love that 🤣🤣🤣
They become a talk show instead of the news and people got fed up
the thing that ironically makes fox news more trustworthy is their openness to their own political bias, and a decent portion of those who watch fox check other sources to fact check and draw their own conclusion.
Edit: youtube is still broken apparently, 9 hours ago there were 16 replies and rn there are 19 yet I can only see 16. if you made an argument I'm sorry and might just make a discord server or something so we can actually discuss this without youtube committing seppuku every other day
Lmao
Imagine believing this lmfao
@@jn1346 What? I rather a biased actor be up front with their bias rather than attempting to hide it like CNN
@@jn1346 he’s right
So you simply prefer the other side of the same sh+tty coin... Got it!
Nobody on that cesspit network should ever find work in media again. They get what they deserve. I take joy in there failure.
@N A Anti-CNN = Pro Trump in your sheltered little world? Fascinating.
@NA-bn9erRemember the time CNN got sued millions and millions of dollars for trying to ruin a young man’s life for wearing a red hat?
BREAKING NEWS: CNN loses all relevancy
And no one ever noticed
Fabulous and DEAD-ON analysis--you are 100 % correct, the damage is irreversible, they will never come back to what they were and the fact that it was all self inflicted in the name of corporate greed makes it seem like their karma caught up with them. Fantastic video; worthy of a college course on modern television journalism.
When they think it’s acceptable to make fun of a 9 year old and think that’s news because they dislike his father I lost all respect for cnn. It isn’t news anymore it’s turned into opinions. Most news sources now days are that way regardless of what you believe.
This doesn't just hurt one news network, it hurts them all...when you get lied to by the last one, you have a harder time trusting the next one
That's actually a good thing. You should never just trust anybody. Even if they mean well - they can still be wrong. What you want is different but reliable sources - that you can check against each other. There are a number of news channels on the Internet - you just need to figure out which ones aren't any good and watch the ones that are.
.
I have to clap for the new ceo to call his own company out and really try to do good
Respect is earned, not given. As soon as you lose respect, it's game over for a news organization.
Also they get sued for millions of dollars. For defaming & ruining a person life with lies. A teenager, it was just some freaking kid they ruined.
@simontide780 - Yes, the ‘journalists’ at that network defamed him for one reason - *his red hat.*
I watched the event from multiple angles on social media and quickly figured out EXACTLY what really happened.
Well I wouldn't say they ruined him. He's doing pretty good the last I saw.
Every person who watches CNN needs to see this.
I watch CNN and I saw this video.
All 5 people?
You can still find CNN’s “on location” footage/coverage of the 92 Operation Desert Storm that was obviously shot on a sound stage in Atlanta, it’s comical!
Now they're falling faster.
One sided, biased reporting combined with "wokeness" is what made me stop watching it.
Thats what happens when you constantly lie to your audience.
