- Today is just a fun day of trying to figure out Lake Berryessa. Im just cruising around and getting use to fishing Berryessa. I think I went to the wrong side of the Lake and might need to switch things up on the next trip. oooyeah I broke my rod. haha #kayakfishing #bassfishing

What’s up brotha.. I was kind of pissed when I got my package in the mail and the rod was a 2 piece. I was like awww f%*^ a 2-piece haha. I was going to use it for a damiki rig setup “medium light”.. I guess it was more “light” than “medium” hahaha ☹️😭. Sometimes when I edit I see things like this and ask myself wtf are you doing hahaha
Haha I broke two rods at the same time. I laid them in my truck door opening and the wind shut on my rods. -$400 lesson

That was a bluegill mix with a redear sunfish hybrid
I call them abomination after the marvel villain character mainly because they inherit both genes from the parents but are much meaner and highly aggressive lol
I would catch redear back in lake havasu that were massive. I think the world record came out of Havasu.
That’s one of my dream destinations to go and catch them!

@@CramersPage I've pulled big branches out with my medium light rod with no issues, this rod i pulled a gold fish out and snapped on me haha tight lines brother!
Next time you go to Berryessa make sure you have a flutter spoon .

We have been killing the trout and king salmon on Berryessa lately. I caught largemouth on flooded live trees the last time we were on our yaks.
Haha that’s crazy to me. Freakin King salmon. lol there were a lot of guys trolling with downriggers 👍🏻🎣😎🍻
@@CramersPage that’s how we do it to. The kings are down 60-80’. There are kings in Oroville, Shasta and several other lakes.
