This is what Navani's notes about the flamespren say: The spren can be convinced to stay in the physical realm and enter the fabrial by choice A proffered hot coal and the right tone calms it and keeps it from dissipating They seem drawn to many of the same things we are recognition identity belonging We are early in this development sometimes modern techniques are still required The spren take on unique traits as we see them as individuals Flare of flamespren Gust of windspren Affliction? of painspren This seems like it could get out of control quickly Will this create a strain of more malleable flamespren? Can it encourage them to multiply?
Interesting thought about how Kaladin might need to learn to play the flute for the wind, meaning there was more to Hoid's giving him a flute than we ever imagined.
Elid asks if the servants of the monasteries (plural) will use the swords (plural). So it seems consistant with the original reading's implication that there is one Honorblade per monastery. So I guess prospective Honeorbearer's travel from monastery to manastery to train each surge, Avatar-style.
What do you mean there used to only be one? Szeth said that he has trained with all ten surges, there was a reference to Nale getting his blade(back) from Shinover and a whole bunch of hints toward there being multiple I remember discussing on a forum years ago that they must have at least 5 for Szeth to have trained with all 10 surges.
I was wondering, if the main issue with infiltrating the Ghostblood hideout was the black white sand, then why not get past it and immediately summon pattern as a small dagger and dismiss him again? Gets the spren past the sand no problem. Unless of course they have additional checks further in.
My first thought was that they must have a bunch of monasteries corresponding to each Honorblade, but then I realized something: the Honorblade that corresponds to the Stonewards was not actually on the planet at the time--much less in Shinovar. I'm not really sure what this means.
I understood that to mean they had multiple Shardblades (i.e. deadeyes), not multiple Honorblades Reference: “Do you think,” Elid whispered, “that the servants of the monasteries will ever come out and fight for us? Use the swords during one of the raids?” “Elid!” he said, standing. “The shamans would never subtract.” “Mother says they practice with the Blades. I’d like to see that, hold one. Why practice, except to-”

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has already started to call for a Bippy Plushy.

What if Rushu is the Kandra?
I think its just impling they are questioning their gender identity, specifically experimenting with non-binary as a label
Who wants to bet that szeth just found his oath*stone*.
When i read that it seemed so sad. That he might have accidentally stepped on it.

The swords they mentioned are ordinary shardblades
I would never bet my sweet Bippy on anything; I love them too much...
I cant wait to watch these videos after it finaly comes out. I refuse to till I can have the whole thing
The Shin invasions are starting to make sense...
I understood that to mean they had multiple Shardblades (i.e. deadeyes), not multiple Honorblades
