I know, Lisa! When I looked at my brushes....I thought, "Good, Lord....I need new brushes" but I was in it to win it....so, I had to use what I had! LOL Anyway, thank you so much for the sweet comment! It's so appreciated and I'm so glad that you are finding inspiration in the projects I do!!! Thanks again for watching and for always taking the time to comment on my videos! XOXO
Actually, I love the old brushes....and dropping the spacer, and the crusty Annie Sloan paint can.....and everything else that makes this video REAL. This is exactly what I am like doing my own flips. The channels that show perfection drive me nuts. This one is real life, IMO
You are very talented and I enjoy your videos. I'd like to see not as much time devoted to stirring paint removing tape, etc etc. and way more time seeing the finished product!! They are all so so darling but you barely give us a glance when your done.
I’m with you, I enjoy so much but there’s some cringe stuff that could be left out or sped up, lots of people can’t stand styrofoam or tinfoil being rubbed, lol I think that more people would watch it is almost an hour video so it won’t affect the quality or length.
It would be easier if you used a tongue depresser or a popsicle stick to mix your appoxy, then spread it in your piece to be glued. Besides that wire shouldn’t go in trash.
Hi Kelly, I miss this kind of post from you! I am glad you made it through that storm. You show us such great ideas to incorporate into our homes. Keep pumping out and creating ideas for us. I love all of these creations. Keep thrifting and creating. You are amazing Kelly! Donna xoxo
I'm so glad you enjoyed this video and I'm so glad you loved the ideas!!! You're so sweet, Donna!!! I want you to know your comment made my day!!! XOXO. Have a BEAUTIFUL weekend!!!!
As a former eBay flipper making over 5k a month( when eBay first came out) and a decorative painter, my opinons: your brushes are exactly that.. if you’re comfortable why break the streak.. I have brushes that cost me over 20. Bucks a brush and ten yrs later, some of them are still my favs. I just published a pattern using my old trusty brush. Now second: this is really a tough realm, depending on where you live… I used to sell primitives on eBay till 2011, then postcards, then.. I did better locally.. I still made patterns though. I think if you have products that people want to buy, then you’re a winner! ( I happened to live in a big city) great projects!
I just found your channel I'm in love with this so I will subscribe cause I believe I can learn a lot from you...I'm thinking in do a booth or participate in crafts fairs farmer's market and sell my creations I'm sure that I can make my dreams true with all that I learn already...would be amazing if u can share the most profitable and easy to do reporpused items and suggest prices and how to charge 4 the labor costs and material...🥰🥰🥰🥰
The pig and chicken you covered with the wallpaper, that looked like copper or tin panels, turned out amazing! I wonder what they would look like if you painted them with "copper" spray paint, followed by a little blue/green paint, in small areas, to make it look as if they were tarnishing??
OH, I'm so glad you didn't lose your power....it's just so miserable to not have power!!! Did you end up getting a lot of snow by you? We did and I actually got stuck and had to have my son push me out! Then a bunch a snow came down while I had my wiper on and now it's not working!!! UrGH!!! I can't wait for summer! LOL. Anyway, hope you're safe!!! XOXO
I have simpathy with you not having power for so long. Here in South Africa we have loadshedding which means we are without power 6 hours -10 hours a day, everyday! We are at the hight of our summer days so it goes up to 36 degrees Celcius some days. Stay strong!
The projects came out very nice, although on the bucket, I think the brass banding should have been left, it looked like brass to me. And the cutting board and the little drawer you married... a little butterfly would have looked better I think than the #
I love how you used the embossed wallpaper; you give me the best ideas!! I'll have to either look for a cow, pig & chicken or scroll cut them to try this idea on. I just saw the video when your mom refreshed that embossed vinyl "tin" tile in the frame by painting it white then distressed it...gorgeous!!! I cannot wait to buy one of those tile sheets to make the same piece for my decor! I went thrifting the other day & as I was grabbing a cart I spotted the first of many awesome items & I immediately thought of you as I said to myself "I've got a good feeling about this thrift trip", lol! I absolutely LOVE your channel; all you gals are just a hoot!! Thank you (& your girl gang) for all the inspiration!!!
I'm so glad you you enjoyed the ideas!!! Thank you so much for the WONDERFUL comment and it made my day to hear that LOVE my channel!!! Don't you just love thrifting...it's so much fun! It's like treasure hunting....you just never know what you're going to find and it sounds like it was a good thrifting trip for you!!! Yay!!! Thanks Again and you have a WONDERFUL weekend, Nicole!!! XOXO
WoW....that would be great! You could just pick it off of an Oak instead of having to buy it for $7.99 at a store!!! Anyway, thanks for watching and for sharing, Karen!!! XOXO
Everything looks just perfect, Kelly! You've outdone yourself. Those little birdies are so sweet. I love the way the embossed wallpaper looks. And I love your vision of pairing the cutting board with the drawer. Love, love, love it all! ❤️
Well, thank you so much, Mary! That was such a nice compliment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the projects this week!!! Your comment made my day!!! Hope you're having a WONDERFUL weekend!!! XOXO
I absolutely love your makeovers!! I love your hang tags. I know you have them in your Etsy shop, but what do you print them on? Is it cream colored card stock? How’s your ankle??
AwHhhh, thank you, Patty Jane!!! Yes, I always use cream colored card stock when I print out the hangtags. If you use white...when you turn the hangtag over....it's just too bright! The cream color allows it to blend in with the look of the hangtag when and if they get flipped over. As far as, my ankle...it sure couldn't have happened at a worse time! I'm hobbling around on one foot trying to put together the last minute touches on the store before it opens next Saturday! Oh well...there's not much I can do! LOL HEE HEE. It's just got to heal! Thanks for asking! XOXO
Ive been watching this video, the way you styled some of the items is very nice. With the bucket though I would have just used the clear wax over the outside. I liked the rustic look of it with the red letters.
He was my favorite!!! I'm so glad you thought he was cute after I finished him! He's a keeper for sure!!! Thanks for watching and letting me know which project you liked best!!! XOXO. Have a WONDERFUL day, today!!!
Hi I love how you brought chalkboard MR. Pig back to life I think that's my Mr.Pig Cuz I gave my away he looks like my Thank you for your video God bless you
OMG...I actually got him in Romeo, Michigan. Is that where you donated yours? Well, if that happens to be your pig....I'm so happy to hear that you approve of what I did with him! Thanks for watching, Dora!!! You have a WONDERFUL day, today!!! XOXO
I'm so glad that you love the projects!!! And, yes...absolutely....here is a link to my Etsy store...all you have to do is click on it and it will take you right there, and give you 15% off your entire purchase: www.etsy.com/shop/FleaMarketRescue?coupon=SAVE15ONSPRING Thanks so much!!! XOXO
Kelly, I swear, I had NO IDEA ABOUT THE POWER OUTAGE!!!! How AWFUL!!!! I'm glad you and yours came back to us in ONE PIECE though!!!! LOVED ALL OF YOUR PROJECTS< but ESPECIALLY THE PIG AND ROOSTER WITH THE WALLPAPER, LOVE THEM!!!! As ALWAYS, Thank-You for sharing your projects with us!!!!
Oh yea...it was the most miserable three days!!! You never know how much you need your power until you don't have it! Our house was so cold, and I couldn't work on any of my Etsy orders...there was no tv....heck, I couldn't even make a cup of coffee! UrGh!!! I've never been so thankful when I saw my lights turn back on!!! I was like AMEN! I'm so glad you loved my projects this week!!! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to write a comment!!! XOXO. Have a WONDERFUL weekend!!!! : )
@@FLEAMARKETRESCUE You want to hear something "IRONIC"?! Just got our Power Back On LATE LAST NIGHT!!!! And the internet a few minutes ago. So I can HONESTLY SAY, "I FEEL YOUR PAIN"!!!!
Oh Kelly! I needed a video from you! You just make my day, so creative and such a beautiful soul! I finally opened my box after work, saw your note and LAUGHED! Hubby pays the utilities so…. 😉 off to shop
Well, I'm so glad I could make your day!!! You are so sweet...thank you for the WONDERFUL compliments!!! What are you trying to do....make me blush, Kelli! HEE HEE OH and the hubby pays the utilities....well, it doesn't get better then that!!! AWESOME, more shopping money!!! HEE HEE. Anyway, thank you so much! I truly appreciate you, Kelli! XOXO. Have a BEAUTIFUL weekend!!!
Thank you! XOXO. Yeah, it works pretty good for me....you just have to put a thin layer of paint. I like using paint better than ink but both would work.
I'm SO glad you added the beige moss to the pots....I was thinking they were too green and needed some contrast. I often find aquarium gravel at the thrift store. I use it like you used the moss. It provides a different texture and color.
I'm glad you enjoyed that, Margaret! There are many things you can do with the wallpaper....from putting on it on cans, to making cones or simply just putting it on wood cutouts like you saw. There are definitely a lot of possibilities...that's for sure!!! Anyway, thanks so much for the sweet comment and for watching! I'm so glad you enjoyed the flips!!! XOXO
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the transformations!!! As far as, the shop...we're still working on it but we're getting there. Hopefully, we'll have everything done in two weeks...I'm hoping! I've taped everything, so you won't miss anything! I'm taking everyone along for the journey!!! Anyway, thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment on my video! I truly appreciate it!!! XOXO
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate that! Yes, I've been quite busy between working on the store, filling Etsy orders, and making videos....I'm non stop but I enjoy all of this...so, I don't mind at all!!! It's totally worth it!!! The store isn't quite ready yet, I think we're going to need another two weeks. I've taped everything and will have a whole video on it just, as soon as, we're done....so, stay tune!!! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment! I truly appreciate it!!! XOXO
OHhhh, I'm so glad to hear that! You made my day!!! Stay tuned....I'll have much more to come!!! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to let me know that you get excited to see the new videos I put out!!! XOXO
It was about 40 degrees that day I sprayed. I spray throughout the year though. I'm crazy like that! HEE HEE. I go out and spray it really quick and then bring it in to dry. I've only had a problem with it being too cold once or twice. When that happens you let it dry....sand paper over whatever didn't cure well and spray over it again real fast and bring it in. Hope that helps answer your question.
@@FLEAMARKETRESCUE it does thank you so much! I always am hesitant to do it so I have a pile of things to be sprayed waiting for spring LOL but in our area that could be end of May 😂😂😂😂
Absolutely! All you have to do is use a little soap and water to clean the stamps and you can use whatever paint or ink you want on them! Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching, Brenda!!! XOXO.
I was able to sell a large quantity of Canning Jars and Lids which were brand new and I had picked up several months previously for a good price. My profit was $23.00 after we I had upcycled the sale. Not a huge amount but good for working less than 30 minutes and not having to clean, paint , redo anything. I have invested my money in several cute signs from Dollar Tree that I am decorating for sale as well as several lovely pocket books from Salvation Army of which all but one was brand new. They were all in excellent condition. I sanitized them, decided on my prices and posted them. Fingers crossed.oh, and I had purchased a wall rack, metal, it was Speckled White color w/ hardware and hooks I paid $13.99 and which I sold for $25.00. SO, thanks to your channel and a couple of others I am hooked on reselling ! Thank you ! It is also providing me with some pocket change as I ama senior on just social security.
Linda, I'm so glad to hear that you are inspired by me!!! That was such a great compliment!!! You're too sweet! Yes, the shop is coming along....we're probably going to need another two weeks before we can actually open, though! I've taped everything, so you're not going to miss anything!!! I'm going to take you all along! Anyway, thanks so much for watching and for the super sweet comment, Linda! You have a FABULOUS day, today!!! XOXO
New sub here!!! I want to say I enjoy all the garage sale shopping videos as you shop. I like how you explain each purchase and the price. Why and why not reason on each purchase. Debbie is funny your Mom is a doll! These projects are also so inspiring. I feel they are simple enough and look awesome! Thank you for sharing your tricks. I was wondering if you could add in how much you'll mark you items in the shop.
My so got me a pig and chick board. I lost the board. I painted two large fork and spoons put them in the holes, black. I painted my pig white. He is on my kitchen shelf. I love my pig. I have a large chicken painted white. Alittle gold whisp on the feathers. She stays on my table in a copper tray.
Sorry you lost power for 3 days. Glad it was only 3 days. January 2022 we got 18 inches of heavy wet snow that brought down lots of trees. We lost power for 8 days!
Thank you, Paula! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!! And, I'm just thankful to have the power back on! You just never know how much you depend on power until you don't have it! No heat...no lights, no tv.....heck, you can't even make a cup of coffee! LOL. Anyway, thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment!!! XOXO
I’m in Michigan south of Greenville and lost power early Monday and we still don’t have power on 3/2. We’re also in for some nasty weather again tomorrow so hopefully they get my power on soon and we don’t lose it again. It’s getting very cold and seems to be colder in my home than it is outside :( Glad you got home safe and have your power back on.
We've had some rough weather....that's for sure!!! Yesterday, we had that snow storm and my car got stuck...I had to have my son push me out. Then all of this snow came falling down on my windshield wiper as I had it on and it won't move now! UrGH!!! Sorry, to hear that you lost power too, Teresa!!! It's really awful, isn't it?!?!? No heat, no tv, can't charge a phone or even make a cup of coffee!!! I hope that you have gotten your power back...it seems like you've had yours out longer then what we did. Stay safe and hoping your power is restored soon!!! XOXO
@@FLEAMARKETRESCUE thank you so much and yes the weather hasn’t been very fun to deal with lately lol. We finally got our power back on later in the evening on Friday and ended up with a snow storm as well. Saturday morning everything was heavily covered in snow and by noon it just all disappeared and now it’s just very muddy lol. I’m sorry you got stuck and hopefully your wiper is a quick fix. Mother Nature has been a bit ornery lately and could probably use a hug and chocolates but until that happens I’m praying this is the tail end of the nasty weather for so many people ❤️ I did get a heater to keep my youngest warm cause he’s still recovering from a severe traumatic brain bleed so my only priority was keeping him safe and warm and not getting sick. Prayers to you and everyone dealing with nasty weather 🙏❤️🙏
Thanks, Cheryl! I'm so glad you enjoyed the projects!!! Yes, that wallpaper you can do so many things with and it's so much easier then actually cutting out a metal tile! Anyway, thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment!! XOXO
Hello. I live just south of Detroit. I love your channel. Can't wait to get to some of the thrift stores you visit and especially can't wait to visit your store! Oh yeah, you got lucky. I was without power for 6 days from that ice storm. It was terrible.
Hi Kim!!! OH...ok...I live North of Detroit. Yes, you're going to have to check out the thrift stores around here...there is quite a few of them and they are absolutely FABULOUS!!! Yes, I hope you will come and visit us at the store! We're not quite ready to open yet....but soon!!! I'll make an announcement, though when we're ready. OMG...you were without power for SIX days....that is TERRIBLE!!! I thought three was bad!!! I'm so sorry to hear that and I do feel your pain!!! It was absolutely miserable for us here!!! Anyway, thank for sharing...I hope to meet you and thanks for watching!!! XOXO
Thanks so very much for your wonderfully creative , fun videos!! ❣ I am disabled and cannot craft like I used to, I do enjoy a bit of crochet!! So your videos I thoroughly enjoy!! I love all your beautiful rescues/refurbished gems 💎 Sending love from Southern Ohio!! 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Sheila! I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying my videos!!! I never learned how to crochet, although...I did own a knit magic when I was kid and LOVED it...it was my FAVORITE thing to do!!! Anyway, I'm sorry to hear that you can't craft like you did because of your disablity but I'm glad to hear that you love seeing me do all the rescues and refurbishing!!! Thank you so much for watching my videos and for taking the time to share with me!!! XOXO
Sorry you lost your power! Hope you get through the next one okay. I remember stealing my mom's homemade cookies out of wooden cookie jar just like that one! Nice redo on yours. That paintable wallpaper is handy for many things. I used it to make cones to hold flowers to hang on pew aisles for my daughter's wedding. Love what you did with it.
OH wow...I totally could see the wallpaper made into cones! What a PERFECT idea!!! Also, I thought that was sweet that you had a wooden cookie like that one.....I totally could see you sneaking your hand in there! HEE HEE. I'm glad you liked the redo! Anyway, thanks for watching and for taking the time to share!!! XOXO
What a great flipping idea. If I had to choose just one item as my favorite…. it would be the pig holding the chalkboard. It’s amazing what paint and your imagination can do. I’m glad you made it through the ice storm. I cannot imagine three das without power. Thanks for choosing my prayer comment at the beginning of the video. ❤
Yes, it was an AWLFUL three days...that's for sure!!! Yes, when I was looking through all the comments...I thought....I'm going to use Sherry's in the video! You're always so kind to me and I want you to know I truly appreciate you!!!! You always take the time to comment on my videos and that is just so nice of you!!! I'm glad you enjoyed the flips and I would have to say the Pig with the Chalkboard was my favorite, too!!!! Anyway, thanks again for watching and you have a BEAUTIFUL weekend, Sherry!!! XOXO
I love the wallpaper you used. That creates so much interest and it's completely different. I love the sweet little bird signs too, but that rooster is just perfect.
Thank you, Charlotte!!! I really apprecitate that!!! Yes, that wallpaper is GREAT and you can do so much with it! You can use it on cans, make cones, add it to wood cutouts, etc... I'm so glad to hear that you loved the Rooster! I liked that one the best, too! Well, thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment!!! XOXO

Not this time, though! I needed to rethink the whole thing, as you seen! HEE HEE. Anyway, thanks for watching and for the suggestion! Have a WONDERFUL weekend!!! XOXO

U need to invest in some good brushes
Girl you need some new brushes
Thinking the same thing!!
If they work for her, why buy new ones? :)
I saw that hand sanitizer does an amazing job refreshing brushes!
Oh my gosh I agree. They made me laugh. They look hard to work with
Was thinking the same thing , so hard and stiff.

I would've just make that epoxy glue right on the drawer because that's where you're putting that anyways
Excellent idea!
It would be easier if you used a tongue depresser or a popsicle stick to mix your appoxy, then spread it in your piece to be glued. Besides that wire shouldn’t go in trash.
Soaking your paint brushes in pure acetone will remove paint and make them more flexible.

I ran into my stash and grabbed my pig cutting board and walpaper before this video was even over! I can't wait to paint it! Awesome idea!
These are beautiful..but ur credit card is very visible on the table..just letting u know😊
You need to get some decent paint brushes! It will make a big difference in your final piece.

The dollar store has some cute animal shapes. About the same size but much thinner.
You really need to invest in some new paint brushes. The one you used for the black has seen better days 😂
That wooden bucket is an old cigar bucket from the 60's.

@@libertygiveme1987 OMG...I'm so sorry you lost your power, too! So glad to hear it's back on, though! WoOOOoo HoOOoo!

Putting the paint on the tinfoil like that was genius!
Thank you!
I love that wall paper. Each flip is fantabulous.❤
XOXO
Amazing transformations , how is the shop coming along, can’t wait to see what you do, when will you open?👍🇨🇦
XOXO
Love all these flips. Just ordered some more of your vintage tags.
AWESOME! Thank you, Lisa!! Also, I'm so glad you loved all the flips!!!! Thanks for watching and for ordering the tags from my Etsy store!

XOXO
I always get excited when I see there’s a new video. Love the way you groove these items
OHhhh, I'm so glad to hear that! You made my day!!! Stay tuned....I'll have much more to come!!! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to let me know that you get excited to see the new videos I put out!!! XOXO
Do you have any problem with your spray painting curing in winter? I see you spray outside?
It was about 40 degrees that day I sprayed. I spray throughout the year though. I'm crazy like that! HEE HEE. I go out and spray it really quick and then bring it in to dry. I've only had a problem with it being too cold once or twice. When that happens you let it dry....sand paper over whatever didn't cure well and spray over it again real fast and bring it in. Hope that helps answer your question.
@@FLEAMARKETRESCUE it does thank you so much! I always am hesitant to do it so I have a pile of things to be sprayed waiting for spring LOL but in our area that could be end of May 😂😂😂😂
I think that was an upside down number six you put on that bread board / drawer thing😂
😮
Defo need new brushes
Can you clean and reuse the stamps with a different color?
Love all the redo s, Kelly. You are so talented and you inspire me. Hope the shop is coming along.
XOXO
Oh I loved the bee. I think I would have put fresh honey in a jar and hung it up. In a kitchen, tea station or something. Love love love this
OH, I totally could picture that, Diane! That's would look AWESOME!!! Great vision!!! Thanks for watching and for sharing! XOXO
hi sherry I AM NEW AND I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
Her name is Kelly 🙃🙂🙃
New sub here!!! I want to say I enjoy all the garage sale shopping videos as you shop. I like how you explain each purchase and the price. Why and why not reason on each purchase. Debbie is funny your Mom is a doll! These projects are also so inspiring. I feel they are simple enough and look awesome! Thank you for sharing your tricks. I was wondering if you could add in how much you'll mark you items in the shop.
Such cute projects. I liked the bee the the number looked good too. It’s all about what you like. ❤❤
Great video! Sorry you were without power so long!!
XOXO
I loved all the projects. What kind of paper is used for the pig print? Also do you recall the Graphic Fairy "search term" to find that cute lil' pig.
That roll of textured paintable paper you can find at Lowes, I just bought some similar for $21.98. They had a pattern like you are using.
Love your ideas. I use a plastic knife to spread my glue
55:17...I wonder if newspaper print scrapbook paper mod podge on the white would look good...
Fun wall paper idea turned out great. loved it all!
Thanks, Cheryl! I'm so glad you enjoyed the projects!!! Yes, that wallpaper you can do so many things with and it's so much easier then actually cutting out a metal tile! Anyway, thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment!! XOXO
Enjoyed the video but you need to buy some new brushes. New to your channel. Do you only do farmhouse? Nice to see more styles.
Love the wallpaper
I'm glad that you loved the wallpaper project, Betty!!! Thanks for watching and for letting me know!!! XOXO
All the projects turned out great. Love the little birds on a ‘wire’ plaques. I have to say, though, your paint brushes drive me bonkers!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Laurie! Thank you so much!!! I appreciate that and you're absolutely right....I do need new brushes!!! HEE HEE
I love all your beautiful rescues/refurbished gems 💎
Sending love from Southern Ohio!! 🥰🥰🥰
XOXO

Thank you, Charlotte!!! I really apprecitate that!!! Yes, that wallpaper is GREAT and you can do so much with it! You can use it on cans, make cones, add it to wood cutouts, etc... Girl you need to get yourself an IOD Brayer and an IOD Thin Mount‼️
LOL...yes, you might be right...judging on how that bee came out! LOL. Yikes!!!! I don't know...I've just always done it that way and for the most part...it usually comes out fine. Not this time, though! I needed to rethink the whole thing, as you seen! HEE HEE. Anyway, thanks for watching and for the suggestion! Have a WONDERFUL weekend!!!
