    ▬ ABOUT THIS REVIEW ▬
I Tried Purple Carrot for One Week! | Best Healthy Meal Kit? Owen Poole, our resident CNET Home chef, puts his cooking skills to the by tackling Purple Carrot - a vegan meal delivery service that uses fresh, organic produce. In this video, Owen goes over the nutritional value, amount of servings per meal, affordability of the meal kit, and how these fresh meals taste. He'll also touch on the recipes he had over the week; how easy the instructions are and whether or not the estimated meal prep/cook time is accurate. As for Purple Carrot, they offer two types of easy meal delivery services: ready-to-eat meals (prepared meals) and standard meal kits to cook at home. The company offers home meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These fresh meals usually provide a minimum of 2 servings and a maximum of 4 servings per meal. Recipes and menus offer a variety of vegan diets and lifestyles. Since Purple Carrot offers a wide range of food items, we see this being one of the best meal kit delivery services for picky eaters. Overall, we think Purple Carrot is a great contender for one of the Best Meal Delivery Kits online. As far as price, you'll have to see if Owen decides if this is a budget-friendly meal delivery service or if it's one of the more expensive meal kits out there. Hopefully, this Purple Carrot vegan meal kit review was helpful and narrowed down your search for the best meal kit plan.

Appreciate the review, and the distinction you were aware of between veganism and simply eating plants. Everyone can eat "vegan foods" because...yeah...everyone eats plants.
The question is whether you're getting enough calories in these kits and whether they're tasty and fairly priced.

I've been an on and off subscriber to several meal kits over the past few years and one of my biggest complaints is how repetitive some of the options are, especially since I lean towards the vegetarian options. For example, I'll order 4 veg dinners one week. And then not even two weeks later, the same options are listed again back on the website. I definitely don't want to have to eat the same handful of meals 2 to 3 times a month (unless it's a personal favorite and it's by choice of course). In your experience how often do you see returning recipes with purple carrot? Will there be enough recipe variety to keep someone satisfied for the the long-term or would it be better to rotate in another delivery service to keep it refreshing?
