Love your reaction to this James. This track caused a little controversy when it was aired on BBC Radio 1 and because of the reaction of DJs lots of folk went out and bought it, propelling it to no.1. Another fun track that came out the year before was Animal Magnet - Welcome to the monkey house.

I was too young to go clubbing in Birmingham, but did attend a one off clubbing night in Digbeth with apparently some of the old DJs from the early 80s and they played this track. Great night.

Then when they released the follow up, Two Tribes, they ended up holding the top 2 spots in the UK singles chart. Unheard of back in the days when all you had was physical sales.
Quite the scandalous song back in the day. But the 80s were wild. Thank God we didn't have social media then... 😂
