- Season 2, Episode 03 - Skiing jackson hole in 2021! Our first ski trip in the van was to none other than Jackson Hole resort in Wyoming! Jackson Hole is by far my most favorite place in the west and its just as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer! Its only my second time skiing Jackson Hole but it definitely does not disappoint!

Luna is my 2013 self-converted sprinter van that I spent about 6 months taking from a messy work van to my very own tiny home on wheels!

Jackson Hole is my favorite mountain. My first trip there was in 1993 and I fell in love with it. I've been back for another 8 trips. It's always awesome.

@@docwatson2191 Nope. No overnight parking in 99% of Jackson unless it's a driveway or a unit designated spot.
Although the lines at the lifts looked busy you had the trails all to yourself! And the snow was the icing on the cake...literally and figuratively...another great day and video. thanks

Great video...I went out there on a work trip in 2017...my boss asked me if I wanted to go because she knew I enjoyed skiing. That city, that resort, was even better than I could imagine. I can't wait to get back there!

Have you skied Squaw Valley yet? I'm from the Tahoe area and I rank everything compared to Squaw, Jackson Hole is definitely the real Deal!! Great mountain, I just hate the parking!!

For sure! A basin is a rad little mountain. It’s not a resort like a lot of the other places but the terrain is super gnarly and the accessibility is awesome. Highly recommend!

Lucas… wait until you ski in Europe, 4K vertical is nothing! Saas-Fee has almost 6K vertical drop… Zermatt has almost 7.5K vertical drop. Bigger mountains and (much) longer runs. Jackson Hole’s vertical drop is awesome for North America but relatively AVERAGE in Europe.
Will have to book a trip to Jackson Hole now

I've skied in Jackson Hole before. Once in 2003 and in 2010 and 2011. Every time I ski, I always go to the bunny slopes, so I can ski accident-free. That means, without a single fall or being knocked down. Besides, women who ski or don't ski love men who ski well, no matter where the women come from.

thanks daniel! i havent skied jackson a ton, but every time im up there its always so fun. and i love the zip line gear! been using it for about 6 years now. grew up as a mogul skier and my dad still rips with the park city team haha but i use the podium and lollipop poles, few different pairs of gloves, goggles and i love their backpack for carrying all my gear in the van!

I don’t think Abasin is top three but if ur doing those steep gully’s along w the east wall yah okay too bad it’s only open about 1 day a year
^ the resort itself stays open really long just most memorable features can’t be accessed until really late until the season
Yea exactly I think the east wall has some of the sickest terrain that’s lift accessible at a ski resort!

How do you keep your boots dry with skiing so much
I only ski on the weekends but I have a little heater in my van that I use to dry the liners if they are soaking wet. Changing socks helps too!

there are free parking lots but they are not at the resort and require a bus to get up to the mountain. I wouldn't call Jackson Hole a "ski hill" though. One of the greatest resorts in the country in my opinion! thanks for watching man!

Oh I know it’s quite the place from what I’ve seen, I guess ski hill is just something I’ve used forever since I was a kid to describe any ski terrain :) Cheers man, first of your videos I’ve seen but I’ll def be checking out more!
