    Great video Cameron. Some top tips there...especially with regards to hardwood vs. softwood. Definately something I'll be doing in the future...but sticking with the metal bodies for now😃👍

    (Thought I'd posted this earlier, Cameron, didn't work obviously) - great video, and some very useful info I can apply to my hand bending on an iron.
    Did I miss something? I wondered why you didn't start at the end with the tightest bends (the cutaway) while the wood was hottest, and just go down through the waist to the other end - getting the 2 ends right first then trying to pull the waist in seemed to be pretty hard work.

      That's a good analysis Chris. I made the top piece of the jig permanent (probably a mistake) so I had to start at the top every time. Initially everything was breaking, so, I was experimenting with different methods, the centre was the most gentle bend so I did it last. It was only later I realised that speed was the most important factor and that when it works, it just works. Now that I know, I would do as you have suggested.
