Today marks 7 years since I uploaded my first ever video to RUclips on Jan 28, 2017. Obviously, it wasn't on this channel, and I might make a video going back through my old channel sometime, but that's besides the point. I want to thank you all once again for the support, making videos like this and having them get attention is a dream come true for me. With all of that said, I will be going all out for the second part of this video, so stay tuned for that in a couple of months.

As a viper main since beta the joke was always one day all these viper buffs will make her borderline thanos.
I loved letting people know that yes I can smoke heaven split with a lineup and stuff like that.
Back then being a trollpick viper and then stomping people was always a blast.
Oh and one thing there was a period where the bucky was still busted and with viper you could kill on like 30m with it's suction shot.

Remember on beta viper was my first pick because i love the poison theme and also the color green and i was memed because of using her at the time now look at her being op

lol the 1.1 bites unlocked memories i didn't want to still have lmao Bind was my worst map till the snake bite pull up time buff exactly because i would get rushed everytime. In regards to viper herself pre 50% pick rate, i've always said she was a viable pick in a bunch of maps and pros didn't pick for the sake of being safe, than the character actually bein bad, at least post not decaying allys buff. I recall even saying at the time that my only gripe playing her was the easily ignorable screens, and it could be easily fixed with it giving the vulnerable state like bites. What i actually got was the most overpowered feeling i ever had playing any online game, cuz holy shit, while her pick rates were still low i was literrally climbing ranks for free because ppl didn't realize how overpowered 50 decay was, and not only pushed through it, but nobody new the counter play since nobody played her, not even pros. Good times. To be honest i miss that viper more because of her ult at the time than the screens, today i feel like i'm wasting it eveytime i deploy it for how much it costs and how many plays the enemy team can make to counter it since i can't walk out of it anymore as often.

you are the only valorant creator that makes actually interesting content that isnt vod review(woohoojin)/pro play analysis. I cant even imagine how hard it is making these videos because valorant itself is a stale fps with the same things as 3 years ago. And riot doesnt help creators like you, no community servers, no replay system etc. Alright thats enough meatriding, but seriously tho, keep it up.

It will be a disservice if in the next part you don't talk about people slowly discovering better secondary controller setups, the nats setup was revolutionary, and as TMV says, "viper is only 1 good setup away from being meta" which we saw with haven in 2023

Damn Viper was trash from the start, Riot then gave her buffs, becomes meta, and now she's slowly going back to becoming trash again.
Riot has no idea what they're doing.
Viper is keep getting nerf only bc of pro play which makes her broken. She is the only agent that can activate smoke whenever its needed. In ranked She's is fine tho but there is one thing that makes her the strongent controller: maps. Map design such a icebox, breeze, pearl, bind and split. These maps have a lot of open and wide space and the only way to cover it was vipers wall. Nowdays riot is fixing map to make meta more versatile and push Viper away from must pick.
