    Is there a braking feature on this mower? How do you manage speed going down very steep hills?

    • @PhilipJohn365
      @PhilipJohn365 3 года назад

      Its similar to a golf cart or a Tesla - when you release the gas, it brakes automatically.

    Have 4 of these mowers in my fleet with Syncro Steer (turf tear reduction technology) NO MORE NEED for three point turns on damp grass like lapbar models. LOVE THESE.

    I have a ProZ100 w/ the 60" 11 gauge deck. This mower will handle 50+ degree slopes, up down and sideways and is why I bought it.

    This is the video you watch if you don't want to read the owners manual.

    Nice job on the review ..... Does it have a locking throttle..... So you do not have to push the pedal in all the time. They have that feature on their riding mowers.

    I can't believe that there aren't that many videos about the Cub Pro Z. I want to buy a Pro Z 148S, but I am very skeptical about its capability/durability

      I have the same concerns considering the past reliability, at least in my experience, with cub cadets over the past years.

      You should be. They are the Chrysler of mowers. Cool looks, awesome features, poor quality.

      The linked steering is the key to hill usage.

    How did it feel on the hills? Im looking for a zeroturn that is more stable on inclines.

      Any Cub Cadet steering wheel zero turn is awesome on the hills. Highly recommended

    The old days you needed grease fittings because the bearings would wear out, now days all the bearings are sealed, so why use grease fittings? grease can't get to the bearings no matter how much you put in. FYI

    About what does this mower sell for?

  • @markrush5013
    @markrush5013 4 года назад

    looks like the insecure JD crowd has shown up again to run down another mower.
    they pay for a yellow/green paint scheme and then spend their time obsessing about other brands.

    is the pro-z 100 just as capable of handling slopes??

    • @TractorTread
      @TractorTread  7 лет назад

      The pro z100 handles the slopes better. Its a little smaller and does not have a pivoting front axle. I already shot some footage of the pro z 100 on hills and hope to have the video up soon.

    I dont know why you need a 35hp motor on that thing. One thing I noticed is real steel, not plastic and heavy duty where it's needed, not el cheapo John Deere excuses...

    • @kennyplay5982
      @kennyplay5982 5 лет назад

      Um John Deere has super commercial mowers

    No comparison to Spartan SRT SERIES

    Seems like you couldn't be as precise in terms of movement when using a steering wheel vs traditional zero turn control levers.

    That’s most backwards confused mower I’ve ever seen.

    • @ericpigg2689

      I do not mow slopes, so I do not have that need. That being said, these are the dumbest looking things on earth, and wrestling that steering wheel around on every row would take 3x longer than paddles. I'd love to see these race a comparable paddle steet ZTR on flat ground, where most of us mow 90% of the time. It wouldn't even be close.
