A denim is a must have in everyones closet and wearing ripped jeasn is a big no if you are following old money trend. Ripped jeans does not enhance this old money aesthetic. When talking about elegant jeasn we can not ignore the wash of the jeans. Elegant lady or quiet luxury aethetic is consist of medium and light washed jeans Meaning acid wash are not seen on this quiet luxury trend.
One other mistake that is not seen in this trend is long acrylic nails. Yes we are girls we love doing manicures and stuff. More of natural manicures are seen on this old money aesthetic, extra long nails with bright and luminous colors are not seen in this trend. Moreover, nails with heavy nail arts, decorated with stones also known as 3d nails, are not seen in old money trend
If you love elegant fashion you must go for natural looking nails. you can maintain perfect natural nails, by trimming your nails twice a month and using a nail file to buff it out. But if you love nail polish and little bit of color, go for clear, nude shades or any other natural looking shade that goes well with your skin. When you look into Quiet luxury trend something you never see is tshirt with prints. but cartoon prints are not seen in this old money trend. But when you wear logos, it becomes loud luxury. And if you love logos, be careful because if you layer logos on top of each other it will end up screaming luxury. Showing off too much of your skin is another common mistake people make when following old money trend. In old money trend they always leave something for the viewers imagination, therefore, they dont expose both legs and hands at the same time. Always wears a coverup when wearing short dresses and skirts. And with a sleeveless top they always go for the long bottom with pants or maxi skirts. You need a nice makeup to complete your outfit, and it is part of styling. Therefore, one of the mistakes that can happen when your are following this old money trend is that, using heavy makeup. Using funky colors and stuff, this is not seen in old money aesthetic. A natural looking makeup can bring you long way, trust me
