Take the T-tops out. Spray the seals with Silicone spray. Put tops back in and let it sit overnight. This will help the new seals form to the tops. Do this regularly.

Ive had 2 vehicles pull like that, one was a sticking caliper and the other was the rubber brake line going to the caliper. If the rubber lines haven't been replaced i would do them for piece of mind. You have had the brakes off a few times now and thats pretty much the only time those lines get moved.

Btw…for shocks, that’s tricky. Unless your wanting to get rid of the leaf spring set up. Any shock will work. But if you want ride quality with the proper stance coil overs is the answer. Qa1 makes the best coil overs out there.

When the T tops are finally sealed, you need to pull out the carpet and pad to get all the moisture out and completely dry. Believe me, a car this old has either chips, abrasions, or just a lack of coverage of the coatings on the floor panels. That’s a recipe for rust in the future. Brother, you don’t want that.

I had a T-top TransAm. Once a month I did my seals on the tops, doors and rear hatch with a silicone based grease and never had any leaks. Your problem is that you have a new upgraded motor but still all the old low grade suspension and driveline components. Thru experience, I can say that these cars were a blast to drive but were never worth much as cross country drivers. In the day they spent all the money on badass motors and cheaped out everywhere else they could. That’s why they sold for less than 7k back then. I have had my share of muscle cars but they are a pain sometimes. Good luck Bud.

Get some slotted rotors with good brakes. You could have a sticking caliper, but check your grease after you changed your wheel bearings. You may have a wheel bearing too tight or not enough grease. Also could be the brake proportion valve. But since it’s just started I would say the earlier problem checking. Hope that helps brother. Once you get everything lined out, she will be one bad mofo! Already is! Good luck ✌️

If the car pulls to the right, the left caliper is failing when braking hard. Try a Wilwood or some other known brand name for new set up or replace with stock. Chassis Engineering makes great suspension kits that would be a bolt on.

He has a ton. Of the same problems. Minus the t tops. But I would strongly recommend for the t tops putting a good quality stiff vacuum line or fuel line and shoving it through the hollow portion of the seals in the tops. I have done that for big door leaks in the past. Works great. Best of luck. Thank you so much for all the content put out. Love it all. Btw. Charlie is adorable.

Your braking issue is most likely the rubber brake line from the hard line to the caliper. It is will be the one on the side opposite the way it pulls. However, you will probably want to replace both. Would do this first before replacing the calipers.

Adam, depending on how deep your pockets are and how much you want to do to the LS, power wise, (ie turbo, nitrous, etc) spend good money once and make the car do what you want it to do, as far as suspension goes, Hotchkiss, or QA1 suspension will make that thing corner like its on rails, as far as brakes, look into wilwood, because all the power in the world isnt gonna help you if you cant stop, T-top leaks, Silicone spray or a little vasoline and let it sit over night where its warm, ( as long as the new seals are rubber! ) if i think of anything else ill let you know. Cheers from the Great White North.

As a lover of everything old we learn the difference between owning and affording, Thank goodness you are at the stage of being able to afford. My eldest daughter stole my Willys pickup with it's inline 6/ Hurricane 6 carbureted and a year later I had to go to Colorado to install a projection intake system to make her life in the mountains easier. I slept better knowing a bunch of young Army wannabe wrenches weren't messing with it. Wait till your son takes a date out in that car, which will cause you more worry?
I had been looking forward to your riding Triumphs and BMWs or Hondas or even Victory (not indian) touring rides but that's another video for later. Thank Wakan Tonka you are home safe. The point is Mr. Sandoval, we enjoy you and your family and friends so Thank You for taking us along.

I bought my 77 new in 77. The rear end proablen started at 5k mile and never stopped. I just changed oil and additive every 5-10 k. Pontiac did the first oil change under warranty. One thing they did, and i continued was after fresh oil and additive, go to open area and do full stop hard left and rights turns at slow speed. 6+ each way, the more the better. Helps lubricate all surfaces of the discs. I did this for the 8+ years i owned it. Whale oil sounds like bs. But thier additive worked the best. @adamsandoval

And my t tops leaked also. Bad!! Raincoat time in the car. But Pontiac replaced them after many many tries to fix. After the replacement with different style, no more raincoat needed when it rained.

Sir I’m certain that you have a brake line collapsed, throwing the pressure to the opposite side. In the front.

i would go back with stock coils in the front and install good quality shocks front and rear. fix the stock brakes. Make sure the pads and rotors are good and bleed the heck out of them.

That differential fluid looked terrible. By the looks of that it appears that it had never been changed, so I'm guessing the brake fluid has also never been changed and you may be getting a sticky caliper on the right side or the left side just isn't breaking as well. After a drive, if you feel feel both calipers and the right one is much hotter than the left one, then you likely have a sticking right side caliper. I left Wisconsin on my motorcycle on February 1st and rode down to Okeechobee Florida where I've been camping since. Good luck Adam!

Trans Am WS-6 Suspension had 4 wheel disc brakes..
It's such a simple car to work on. Posi Traction was an $88.00 Option in 1979.. My Posi doesn't work anymore need new friction disks. Your rear axle oil looked terrible .. You need 80W-90 oil I always used a tiny bottle of GM Posi additive..
My Camaro sits low I tool a half a coil out of the front springs with a torch .. Now I have very little Travel.. I have much bigger than stock sway bars front and rear... So if you have an LS engine do you have a 4 speed automatic too?
I replaced the Borg Warner T-10 4 speed with a Doug Nash 5 speed but I don't have any overdrive..
In 1979 When I ordered my new Camaro it took 6 months. It was built in Vany Nuys CA.. If I would have wanted T-Tops I would have had to wait 9 months .. and it was a $650.00 Option that I did not want.
Trans Ams do have a nicer Interior than Camaros have.
