Happy Halloween!
I'm celebrating by making a Halloween DIY, this time its a cardboard Haunted Mansion inspired in the Disneyland version and Tim Burton's The nightmare before Christmas, I've decided instead of decorating the outside, to change the building to make it look like the movie.

Ok... my jaw has been on the floor for twenty minutes now. How is it that I’m just now finding someone who’s done so many of the same projects as me but ten times better? The level of detail and creativity in these is truly astounding, I’m seriously taking notes!!!

You timed it perfectly to the music you chose! Couldn't resist seeing how you managed to create such a masterpiece in less than 6.5 minutes. Mind altering! The question arises if you also produced a somewhat slower and more informative video of this creation? If I had limitless time on my hands, I'd love to try to imitate this haunted house...sigh... That’s fantastic! I really love it. However, personally If I’m putting that much detail into something I’m building, I’m going to use superior build materials and techniques.
Like the haunted house I’m currently building. I’m using wood for the frame of the house and studs in the walls for support. I’m also hand plastering each and every wall, and hand cutting and staining the wood floors.
The fireplaces are going to be lined with actual cement so real fire can be contained within, and the mantles are going to be molded in cement as well. I’ve been working on it for 3 weeks already and when it’s done, it’s definitely going to be the best thing I’ve built.

This is exactly the kind of thing I wanted to do this Halloween. I have tons of boxes saved up (I look like a hoarder) but no time! 😄 Great job. Do you have a tip on how you pick your color palette for the house? Or just go with what feels right?
Honestly I struggled a lot with the colors 😅 but then I decided to go with the cast mebers costume color pallete... I know I posted late😶 but this is Halloween and Christmas decoration for me🎃🎄

I will admit that your house is awesome, and I’d like to make one similar. Unfortunately your “how to “ video was not what the title stated, and disappointing.

Thank you, there’s a free paper craft online that you can use as a guide to build one. To make my version just make everything crooked😝 I’m making the new videos slower (only it takes a lot of time to make them)

🙋... sorry, I rarely measure anything😶😶😶 but I know there's a really good free papercraft model of the real haunted mansion that you could maybe use as a reference to build one☺ ... just don't use any straight lines when building

Ok ok ok. It looks like you applied RAW polymer clay directly to the house... which means you baked the whole house after putting on the blinds, roof shingles and landscaping???? What? Is that even legal???
I used regular or air dry clay... since they're only for display and no one will touch them ever😅 regular clay with glue and all the paint is strong enough, plus I don't want get overbudget😜
