Sir, I choose to disagree. We cannot provide sleeve at position 1 as it is in high shear zone. Sleeves should not be provided in compression zone and zone of high shear. Sleeve should preferably located within the middle third of the depth of the beam.
I have mentioned in the video that all design parameters need to be checked too. I also have mentioned about shear. Go ahead and read my blog too which is provided in the description. It shows the additional design requirement. The sleeve should be provided in the tension zone. One of the location, I mentioned is a shear zone. There you need to check the possibility. You also need to check if any of the load combination exhibits stress reversal and avoid that location
