    Ive listened to so many of these and I cant believe, I actually like these radio programs. Ive been listening to Dragnet for a little bit and I think its so cool that we can "preserve" such a legacy.

    April 5, 1951 ! “The Big Friend” Exactly 70 years ago today🤩
    Still relevant today! And we’ve come pretty far from our cigarette viewpoints 💨
    Loved the side conversations like Joe and Ben have... “ it’s no good if it leaks” 😂

    Kent McCord voicing the "Best Friend" was weird, I only hear him as Officer Jim Reed from Adam-12

      Kent McCord was born in 1942. He voiced this as a child of nine years?

      @@michaelpodrebarac8519 It must have been another actor, but he really did sound like Kent McCord.

    I feel like Jack Webb (or whoever was in charge of naming the episodes) ran into a creative slump with "The Big..."

      @howardoller443 Год назад +2

      It's not about a creative slump. It's more about a theme. During the late 40s/early 50s many crime/film noir movies were named "The Big _____" (e.g. The Big Sleep, The Big Clock, The Big Heat, etc.).
