The minute she said 'introvert' i kinda understood why she may come off badly to others. Celebs are expected to be talkative and entertaining during press tours and we often forget their main work is acting. For me, the way she expresses herself wasnt really an issue until someone starts bitching about it. But as shes said she is an introvert. And even if she isnt, surely she knows how to turn the hates around and im sure she never (in her respectable, witted mind) meant to come off as "rude" or "arrogant". I'm an introvert and i sometimes make jokes which i thought were very funny and innocent but realised how bland they were when no one gets them. Just watched her Wired Interview after this, and I didn’t think it was too bad. It seemed like her jokes and sarcasm just gave the wrong impression. She definitely seems more relaxed here though, but I mean, who wouldn’t be with puppies running around.

When i watched her wired interview i wasnt really fond of her. then after checking her other interviews i understand why she seems unlikable at times. I havent watched any marvel movies so i am not a fan of brie but i feel sorry for this girl. In a world full of extroverts i hope we introverts find peace.
she has made her mark on so many good movies before the role of Captain Marvel. You can check her performance in Short-term 12 or Room. Those two I think are heavy in emotions and fit Brie as an actress really well. Captain Marvel is a role that's beyond her comfort zone and she did a good job. Just hope people ease with the hate they have on her.

I might be able to come to a compromise that she's well intentioned if it wasn't for that bit about the Wrinkle in Time movie. If you just flip the names around you can see why that shouldn't really be okay. Maia Smith I think it’s just for relatability purposes. Honestly the reason I started liking her is because I started picking out similarities in our personalities and how we talked and it’s something stupid to like her for I guess but I just began really enjoying videos with her in them. She and I share similar traits and it’s kind of cool seeing someone introverted, awkward, yet opinionated with a dry sense of humor getting attention for once. I just felt a little bit more comfortable with how I am watching her.

@Buse İpek shut up. The movie wasn't perfect. Not even close. It was a decent movie at best. Just like black panther was. Cgi was good just because it's a marvel movie, so that really shows no accomplishment with captain marvel.
Well the Marketing campaign was horrible. And Brie also had a few nastier comments which got dug up. Also people are tired of the SJW bullshit infesting Hollywood, when they push an agenda even at the expense of the story and characters... just look at how Star Wars has fallen with the Last Jedi. Then everyone who has valid reasons to call out the flaws gets labelled sexist and what not. Of course people get tired of this. With that campaign, Captain Marvel, and thus the MCU seemed to be the next on the chopping block. I was a skeptic too, but wanted to get the verdict of this shitshow for myself. And yeah, an honest movie with strong feminists motives yet not undercutting the franchise's previously established values... good stuff. People these days seem to forget that these SJW movements come from noble ideas turned into destructive extremes, and the violent extremes of both sides keep throwing shit at each other. Check out other interviews she’s done for the film! She’s honestly has a sweet personality. The puppy’s made her comfortable and she was able to be her real self.
Idk why everyone thinks she was unlikeable in the WIRED interview, she was really funny in that and answered the questions like most people do in that autocomplete interview series.

@COVID-19 PANDEMIC She's excused because she's an introvert who was uncomfortable and stressed in that one interview that made everybody hate her. You can't seriously tell me that you've never said anything wrong under stress? Also, introverts tend to try too hard to get people to like them as well, so when she was trying *not* to sound racist and sexist, but she ended up sounding like it anyway.
The minute she said 'introvert' i kinda understood why she may come off badly to others. Celebs are expected to be talkative and entertaining during press tours and we often forget their main work is acting. Personally, many times I've said things that come off the wrong way because I'm used to carefully crafting my words before saying them, add to that, my sarcastic sense of humor certainly doesn't help. Can't speak for Brie but I think people should give her a break.

Whether you like Brie or not, there is no denying that she received definite hate by a lot of people. But the thing is. Ignore the haters, you get called out for that. For me, the way she expresses herself wasnt really an issue until someone starts bitching about it. But as shes said she is an introvert. And even if she isnt, surely she knows how to turn the hates around and im sure she never (in her respectable, witted mind) meant to come off as "rude" or "arrogant". I'm an introvert and i sometimes make jokes which i thought were very funny and innocent but realised how bland they were when no one gets them. Also, when you feel like too many people are hating on you, there is no way that you'll find it easy not to take some further comments personally. It is a mental hurdle should i say. But i think we all have done something with the best intention but not everyone *receives* it that kind of way. When i watched her wired interview i wasnt really fond of her. then after checking her other interviews i understand why she seems unlikable at times. she has made her mark on so many good movies before the role of Captain Marvel. You can check her performance in Short-term 12 or Room. Those two I think are heavy in emotions and fit Brie as an actress really well. Captain Marvel is a role that's beyond her comfort zone and she did a good job. I might be able to come to a compromise that she's well intentioned if it wasn't for that bit about the Wrinkle in Time movie. If you just flip the names around you can see why that shouldn't really be okay. Well the Marketing campaign was horrible. And Brie also had a few nastier comments which got dug up. Also people are tired of the SJW bullshit infesting Hollywood, when they push an agenda even at the expense of the story and characters... just look at how Star Wars has fallen with the Last Jedi. Then everyone who has valid reasons to call out the flaws gets labelled sexist and what not. Of course people get tired of this.
With that campaign, Captain Marvel, and thus the MCU seemed to be the next on the chopping block.
I was a skeptic too, but wanted to get the verdict of this shitshow for myself. And yeah, an honest movie with strong feminists motives yet not undercutting the franchise's previously established values... good stuff.
People these days seem to forget that these SJW movements come from noble ideas turned into destructive extremes, and the violent extremes of both sides keep throwing shit at each other.

Check out other interviews she’s done for the film! She’s honestly has a sweet personality. The puppy’s made her comfortable and she was able to be her real self.
