The llama could also be symbolized with how llamas spit at their predators for their protection. Spitting at others is obviously considered rude, just like how Pacifica is rude to others perhaps to protect her true self

@@Virg0z that movie influenced my views on Llamas in this context. I thought the Llama symbolised the regal, and a rich family like Pacifica is an accurate representation of that.
Alex Hrisch said in the commentary for Weirdmeggedon Part 3 that they put Pacifica as the llama for that exact reason. They just found out that Llamas spit a lot and went "Yep that's Pacifica".
I think also a less literal explanation is that llamas can be both seen as cute and cuddly, but also gross and rude, which I mean, yeah that’s Pacifica

I like that they didn't defeat bill with the zodiac, and that they figured another way. Instead of following a destiny, a path set out for them, they broke the path and it definitely made the show more interesting. But that's just me🤷♀️

Basically confirmed that he's not done with yet. He's somewhere in a different time and a different form probably with all of his memories intact.

This is kinda random but I wanted to know Bill’s backstory because in the book it says 2 things “misses home and can’t return” and “says he’s happy he’s a liar” which means that whether he knows it or not he feels guilt for burning his dimension and that he’s not happy whether he wants to believe that or not and overall I just want more Bill content and stuff about him just have what caused him to go insane and destroy his family and home dimension because we don’t know basically know nothing about him and I want to know more
When he was talking to Ford, he said that his dimension was a "flat world with flat minds and flat dreams" and he "liberated" it by burning it down. He was probably banished for what he did or he left and became this chaos God, very intelligent actually. In Weirdmageddon he says "for more than one trillion* years I've been trapped in my own decaying dimension, waiting for a new universe to call my own" which means he suffered because he had no place, but his ideal world is a world of chaos so he's a villain either way.

Yes true! It's weirdly an unresolved story even though it's been gone for seven years now. Bill invoked the power of the Axolotl to come back, the ARG was about finding a version of Bill and the Axolotl's description of Bill might have something to tie it all together, yet I haven't really seen any theory that really resolves the story of Gravity Falls after the events of the show.

I think the actual ending was more effective than the zodiac ending of pushing bill and his weirdness through the rip in the sky. Pushing him back would result in bill still living, but in the true ending we saw Stanley kill bill by punching him in the face before his memory fades making sure bill is gone forever

Unofficial Name that is incredibly unlikely since he is reincarnated after Gravity Falls unless this was happening awhile before but that is unlikely because of the technology Anne has. Anne has a smartphone while in Gravity Falls I don’t remember any being there. Sure I would love more Bill but it just wouldn’t feel right in this context. There could be a show in the future where Bill could work or his reincarnation could work.

Trapped between dimensions for 30 years without anyone but himself, facing all kinds of traumatic things in said dimensions (that likely gave him PTSD that we never saw on screen), spending his life trying to achieve a goal that he didn't end up getting to (sure, you could argue that in the end, Bill was defeated and it doesn't matter how it happened, but most of his efforts in between dimensions were towards building something that didn't quite work out the way he intended), that's not quite the BEST.

Both Bill and the all seeing eye are obviously based on the well known conspiracy theory of illuminati (or I am pretty sure a different name is the all seeing eye)

On the DVD commentary Hisch actually revealed that the Zodiac was only made to be something weird at the end of the credits. They thought a Mayan calendar with Bill would look cool, and filled the wheel with recurring symbols and a few random ones. He never intended to do anything with it until fans started theorizing about it and tried to do something with it. It’s interesting how the fan theories actually influenced the Cipher Wheel’s inclusion.

The zodiac would reverse bills weirdness which would basically remove his powers and giving them to the characters then they would push bill back and bill would try to turn into his forms but would glitch similar to what happened in stans mind then bill would get pushes out of the tear in the sky and the characters would live happily ever after.
When you have an almost on the potent adversary an overarching villain who seems almost overpowered. You need to have a weakness and most creators like to hide this in plain sight. It's completely believable that what do you use to summon him is also what you can use the banished him. The way to lead him to his demise was always in plain sight but you would just really have to think about it.

I think that in a situation the zodiac could relate to bill in a sense, if the zodiac is based on personality I would think that the zodiac would drain out each personality trait inside bill leaving him as an empty shell of himself where he could be captured as the main group use the zodiac to seal the rift and all the endings bill did.
As much as I wanted the zodiac to work, its failure completed the character arc for Stanley to be fully realized as the hero. Yes, he screwed it up, amongst some other things, but his intentions were always sincere; he loved his family. He only ever wanted to get Ford back and set things right. So with no options left, he was willing to sacrifice himself for Ford and the kids to keep them safe. Though, Bill would have probably done something diabolical to them anyway. The point is Bill's ego and ambitions undid him. I'd love to see an "alternate version" of what could have happened _but_ the ending we got was definitely right in the feels. 😭😊

Ok but what is the HISTORY of the wheel
The wheel was put on the cave wall by one of Gravity Falls' Natives, a shaman named Modok. Modok had met Cipher and was first fooled by the triangle's demonic charm. But when Modok got wise to Cipher's schemes, he destroyed the makeshift portal generator he was building, left the prophecy warning and wheel on the cave wall, and then set himself on fire.

I had an idea, however, that maybe when the zodiac was completed, it would have summoned the Ancient Axolotl, who would frighten Bill so much (because the axolotl is like a god or whatever while Bill is only a demon) and the Ancient Axolotl would have permanently destroyed/killed Bill. Then again, yours makes more sense when we look at the caveman graffiti.
The stan’s symbol could also be a heavy head as the credits cipher after boss Mabel is “ heavy is the head that wears the fez” as that is the symbol on the fez

I think the symbol of gideon represents someone who can get a cult following of loyal people .This is shown when gideon first appaered in season one with the town right until the end where he is caught and in season two the prisoners wo still follow him after the series .
In my opinion I believe that the llama symbols how they spit on people and how Pacifica is basically doing that throughout the whole show just treating people like lower tier peasants and basically spitting on them

a personal theory of mine is maybe the Zodiac method would lead to a longer season or airtime to make it work, they can't just stand and hold hands and defeat Bill in a snap, it has to have either a grand sequence of events leading to his defeat or another conflict before his demise, as the vid said "putting their minds to the test" seeing how the other characters were never really involved to the supernatural events like Robbie, it would create a plot hole on how he endured the Zodiac prophecy, his largest paranormal involvement was Weirdmaggedon apart from that street fighter parody episode. So maybe they cut the zodiac method is to save time, avoid plot holes, and avoid complicated plot points overall
Maybe it did work. The second everyone stepped on their symbol and joined hands, Ford actually let something off his chest. A grammar correction that highlights putting the other person before yourself. Something he accuses Stanley of never doing, and he himself is guilty of ignoring. Shortly after you see them repenting and talking it out and even making up, leading to the deal that ultimately defeated Bill. Maybe all it did was give them a little nudge.
Okay I love reverse Pines comics but there always seems to be this inconsistency. They always give the twins brown hair when it states clearly in the book that the amulet makes your hair become White. So there's should be just like Gideon

Originally, the image that was going to appear in the opening was the six fingered hand, but Alex Hirsch decided to replace it because he discovered the TV show Fringe also had a six fingered hand. The idea for the Zodiac was created by Alex in a meeting with Ian Worrel when he was running late for another meeting in an attempt to replace it. The symbols on the wheel were just random symbols from the seven episodes they'd already made by that point, and when the Zodiac became such a phenomenon in the fandom Alex realized he had to write it into the story somehow.
I really wish it was used but maybe it would be used in a future move or game of some sort

Can we notice the fact that mabel and gideon weren't holding hands if it was the one in the intro, even though he made a big deal about it! They were two spaces apart. Same with ford and stan. If people were using the intro one, then it should have worked!!
Memory can be easily manipulated, and Ford draws the zodiac from his memory, so it makes sense that it isn’t drawn accurately.

I think this might be all wrong! My theory is that dipper has an incurable disease. Mabel is happy because in the real world she’s sad. Gravity falls is just a place dipper invented to distract him. When he makes a deal with bill, who plays the role of the disease, he is accepting his fate. When he leaves gravity falls, that is him leaving his LIFE behind.

For there to be cave drawings of his rise to power and demise that would have happened a loooong time ago... was the zodiac the same back then? Or different symbols? And how was it created? Sort of like “what was the process of making horcruxes” ... I’m glad they made it to where you could summon him with it too cause the whole “what gives you life can give you death” thing I really like.
It would be cool to think about what if Stanford was created by Bill right before the natives sealed him away.
Time to get speculating. First off the zodiac is part of the prophecy which I believe has been around for 1 billion years I could be wrong. I think the zodiac was constructed after bill conquered his own dimension and acted like a special lock. What I mean is what if only new incarnations of the zodiac members can summon bill into their world. Meaning only 10 people would be able to summon him. I do agree that it could act as a double edged sword. It could prevent bills invasion or it could unleash it. What if the symbols combined act as weirdness incarnate. What if when all 10 are gathered it can provide bill enough extra power to conquer the universe/grant him dominion over it. Also what if bills lie to Ford wasn’t a complete lie. He said he’s a muse that inspires one mind a century. So what I’m saying is what if bill told a half truth and that he can only try his plan again once every century. Because if he could try whenever he could’ve waited for the ancient people to die and for someone to summon him again before Ford was even born. The zodiac could be what restricts his attempts to once a century. Furthermore I think that the zodiac if truly completed could seal off the nightmare dimension permanently
I think it would have destroyed him by taking off the brikes then his eye then the arms and legs and finally the Bow tie and hat.
Ford mentions the Bill keeps popping up from the pyramid of ancient Egypt. Has bill released the wiredmagade before?

I found something weird: in the zodiac that appears in the journal, we can see that Ford should hold hands with Paciffica and Gideon, but in the show, he holds hands with Robby and Stan.

I think they would all combine into one being stronger than bill because of one extra feature: teamwork.(and good)
