  • Ok here it is, part one of the engine rebuild, I finished the rebuild a bit ago, but I just finished the editing recently hope you enjoy it. And hopefully, this can help other people rebuild their DOHC cb750s.
    Part 2 and 3 if I decide to split it will be comping momentarily, also an introduction to the Super Moto project!

    Dude you popped up at just the right time. I appreciate the way you film as I sometime struggle with the pace of other peoples videos. Some people FLY through it abd id have to rewind the same carb video like 300 times just to catch wtf happened. This is just what I was looking for. Just subscribed.

      Thanks for the sub! Glad I could help! I made the video for that very reason, I had been watching letterbox but hadn't scene an update from him, I try not to skip anything in videos, cuz I totally feel the rewinding 300times thing, been there.
      Wish you the best on your project!

    Dude Awesome! I followed Letterbox's disassembly as well! ha ha I am completely done with the top end and just waiting on some tools for the bottom end. Glad I found your videos, I will prob watch them a 1000 times trying to put this thing back together. Love the black color scheme I would like to do the same for my motor!

    I was watching letter box’s vids. Disassembled my engine and got overwhelmed Ha. Ended up finding a new engine to put in my bike. Glad someone finally has a reassembly video.

      Theoretically yes I think so, but it would be difficult and I'm not sure if recomend it, full rebuild could be done ina. Weekend for less than $150 and that'd double the life of yr bike most likely. Just my opinion

    hey there. Thank you for the video. What lube are you using when assembling.

      I used the Lucas Oil High performance assembly lube, it has a green color to it, I really like how tacky it is because it lets you set things in place as you assemble the engine.

    Thank you for the video it has really helped but what did you use to clean all the parts?

    • @one.crafty_boi
      @one.crafty_boi  Год назад

      Plenty of ways to do it, plain old parts cleaner and a tooth brush is great, or if your lazy like me, go on Facebook market and pickup an old dishwasher for free, then have it cycle parts cleaner fluid, toss in whatever parts you want cleaned and yr done.
