  • Early in her insurance career, Letisha Jackson wasn't able to afford leads so she took it upon herself to create them. Through her hard work, she was able to become a top-producing insurance agent by door knocking businesses - without ever buying a single lead. Her story is great and it was an honor to have her on the podcast!

    I used to put 20 Pennie’s in my pocket and every time I spoke to someone about insurance I would move 1 penny to the opposite pocket. I used clothes pins on my sun visor and moved them to the passenger side every time I mentioned insurance. I miss it.

    Great interview! You’re an inspiration!Quick question- How does door knocking without leads work for/with life insurance, such as Final Expense or Mortgage protection?

      Hey Anthony, recently couple months ago got with Family first and to me cold door knocking it’s by far probably the best one. You have customers right infront of you, they are free, once i sign them up i have a 20 dollar amazon or Starbucks and ask for 3-5 referrals and call those referrals as my leads. Man if you don’t mind taking a good walk through apartments neighborhoods. You should do it.

      @@heberalmanza1500 this is awesome advice. I have a question how do you door knock on not so good neighborhoods

    • @heberalmanza1500
      @heberalmanza1500 2 года назад +3

      @@wisdomaboveground Sometimes those are the best ones, most of them are not set up with insurance at all and everyone can afford insurance there’s a price for everyone and it’s an asset for them as well which most of them don’t have it will make them feel protected and good about opening one up.

      Just show up for every occasion, even if the room is bigger than you. Remember the bigger the room, the bigger you will grow! Get out of your comfort zone and watch how much more you will grow.

    I have a question, as a women how do door knock in not so good neighborhoods specifically for final expense

    • @letishajackson6143
      @letishajackson6143 2 года назад +3

      I didn't door knock final expense leads, I was door knocking b2b... however when I did go out for final expense, I would have someone with me, if I didn't feel comfortable, however over the phone is also an option

  • @Rorahh

    I liked what you guys had to say but I think it’s weird to doorknock and book an appointment when you’re already there and you can just rip through everything right then

    • @letishajackson6143
      @letishajackson6143 2 года назад +9

      You maybe right, however this was my strategy and it worked for me, to each its own. Remember I didn't have any guidance or systems.

    • @tahshaypatton6867
      @tahshaypatton6867 2 года назад +7

      Not weird at all, especially when you are nervous and need to prepare for the appointment. You get a feel for your clients during door knocking and helps you better prepare for the actual appointment. As a insurance agent always act busy 😂

    • @fwalls7481
      @fwalls7481 2 года назад +5

      It's not weird. Her plan was to knock 20 doors. In order to accomplish that she needed to set the appointment for another day. It's called focus.
