I recommend plackers dental double line flossers they get double the amount of plaque in between teeth (I am a dental hygienist if you did not know) and I recommend them. We lost my dad in March of 2012 to aml leukemia. What I would give to get a call from him on FaceTime, to see and hear him again... That made a lump in my throat and made tears roll...I miss him so much. His humor, his wisdom, his support, and even his constructive criticism. I miss him everyday. Even though it’s been almost 8 years, it still hits me unexpectedly. Losing someone we love affects us all differently. No one grieves in a “wrong way”. We then lost my only sister in 2016 to years of alcoholism. It hasn’t been easy to say the least for us left behind. Parts of me are missing. Knowing my dad and sister are together is comforting but the selfish part of me just wants them back with us, want things the way they used to be. Before leukemia, before addiction... I try to understand why things happen the way they do, I know that is something we will never be able to find an answer for, but my heart does sure yearn for that answer as to “why?” I know I can’t continue to live with the regrets I carry. They wouldn’t want me to do this. Thank you to anyone who read this. To anyone else dealing with loss of a loved one, please know you aren’t alone and that this takes time and sometimes even help from a professional. There is no shame in needing help to cope.

Re: the Ren! I have been using the Tarte Knockout Tingle Treatment after Stephanie Nicole said it was one of the best acid toners out there. It's incredible and I like it even more than the Ren! Give it a try if you can!
The Rodan and Fields lip serum is great! I actually had a scar on my lip line from when I was a kid that caused a wrinkle in my lip. The serum not only plumped up the wrinkle, but the scar is basically gone now. Highly recommend.
I have been using 100% pure castor oil on my brows and lashes and it is amazing. I definitely did some over-plucking in my youth and since using the castor oil they have grown in so much.

I have purchased dryer balls and a couple of the wool balls to collect lint and we don’t use fabric softener anymore-I don’t notice a difference and it is one less thing to purchase and it is suppose to be better for fabrics and help the absorbency of towels. To get that extra “clean” smell I do use the fragrance enhancers in the wash.
It's a grey day in Kansas too, but I have electro swing going on and am deep cleaning my kitchen. Taking a small break and then I will be deep cleaning the bookcases in my living room. Oh! A thought came to me to share with Tyler. My husband and I are hobby woodworkers who have made several pieces of our own furniture. When cleaning/polishing our pieces we use linseed oil. It is WAY better than Pledge or Method which can cause product residue build-up. Linseed oil will also make your furniture last longer too. At any rate, thought I would share. That’s my favorite contact solution, too. Costco often has the two pack with a travel size included. I just love this stuff so much - it does the best job!
Shelly - no. Not if it’s the brand shown in the video. I tried a knock off brand a few months ago because they were out of the one I wanted and my eyes burned every time I didn’t rinse them off first.
I’m puzzled how this contact solution works; if your hands are completely clean and you don’t have to rinse the contacts; say it’s just one of those days, you’re running late and your eyes just hate you; your contact falls, or your hands are too wet, etc. do you need to use multi purpose solution for a quick rinse? Or are you doomed to wait another 8 hours?
alyssa hernandez - I do have a multipurpose solution on hand, just in case. Definitely don’t use this solution for those moments. But the solution cleans SOOOOO deep.
Jess, You should try using 3 wool dryer balls in your dryer....eliminates having to use fabric softener which builds up in fabrics. They also eliminate static cling, make our stiff jeans pliable, towels soft (don’t ever use fabric softener on your towels....they won’t be very absorbent), makes sweaters and clothes soft and are good for the environment. I’m still using the same wool dryer balls (made in America) I’ve had for more than a year... I don’t know how often you’re supposed to change them. Will have to research that.
Omg guys! Speaking about lash serum. I’ve always had really nice lashes. However, Mary Kay mascara remover makes my lashes SUPER LONG! You will not see results over night . But three months you definitely WILL!!!! Been using it for 20 years! Love you Jessica!!!!

I love Clear Care cleaning solution (peroxide based) too! It works so well BECAUSE of the chemical component. It penetrates contact lenses and kills germs and bacteria for strong disinfection and deep cleaning. The special lens case has a built-in neutralizer-a ring of platinum that reacts with hydrogen peroxide-that causes the peroxide to turn into water. The entire “neutralizing” process takes about 6 hours. After this, the lenses are safe to place in the eyes.
The best lash serum of all time is LiLash! I’ve tried a bunch including the GrandeLash one, but LiLash is truly the only one that works. My lashes are crazy long and full!

That Clear Care contact solution is a peroxide system. The pad on the bottom neutralizes it to saline after 6-8 hours. You should always throw the case away with each bottle. It can stop neutralizing after awhile. Then you have peroxide in your eyes. (Optician here 😅🙋🏼♀️)
The dollar trees in my area have little bottles with the press-dispenser like on the Ren bottle. I love them so much! I re-bottle all of my toners, rubbing alcohol, and nail polish remover into them.
1st: I'm not sure if Ulta is still doing their skin care sale, but the No. 7 line correcting booster serum was buy one, get one and I stocked up because I've been using it ever since you recommended it when you were first trying it! 2nd: I'm in love with the Method Ginger Mango. I use the detergent, fabric softener, beads, and dryer sheets because I can't get enough of the scent. I get soooo many compliments on how I smell at work. I'm a nurse and ot holds up through my 12+ hr shifts. I've turned a number of other nurses and patients on to it. 😍🥭

I feel like there is anti glare film that you can use on your picture (sort of like a window cling material). And those scent pellets are a staple in my life! I use them in my laundry bag when I travel, in my closets, in stored bedding and clothing. Just put them in little sachet bags and throw them anywhere
I think I remember you saying that you have a water softener. When you have a water softener, you don't need to use fabric softener. Plus you can use less detergent. Always fun to see empties videos. Thanks for sharing.
I was using Grande Lash and ran out and didn't want to spend the money at Christmas for a new one so decided to try castor oil. I ordered some Jamaican black castor oil from Amazon and I just dip my finger in and apply to my eyelashes each night. Wow, it really worked and it worked just as well as the Grande Lash. I just hope it doesn't stop being effective over time. It's been great.
Jessica!!! The Clinique Take The Day Off Balm uses a certain plastic that can’t be proven to not affect the environment after it’s washed off. I believe the Green Pharmacy one has that ingredient too. A really good one is the Then I Met You Cleansing Balm. It’s a Korean brand formulated with really good ingredients. It’s a bit expensive though, but it won so many awards so consider trying it. I’ve only heard good things. Plus the periwinkle-color packaging is cute too! Please try it and I hope it can replace your Clinique one. Love you!!
The clear care has peroxide in it that’s why you can’t use it directly in your eyes. It needs six hours in the container to neutralize before you can put the contacts on. I agree though. Best contact solution ever. The only one I could use before I had Lasik done.
You can buy pump bottles like that for your toner at sallys or even dollar tree. Right with the nail polish. I just transfer my toner into it as needed.
Trick for glare on your picture frame. Slightly angle the top off the wall. This will change the angle of the light reflection and remove the glare. Try a towel behind the top of the frame to test.
Jessica you need to try the Rapid lash eyelash enhancing serum. You can get it at Ulta. I have used a few lash serums including the grande serum and I can tell you the rapid serum is the best one I’ve ever used! You can totally see the difference, in lash length and fuller lashes. I have been getting compliments on my lashes or ask if I’m wearing falsies, when I’m only wearing mascara. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
CosRX is the best! I have the all in one gel cream- 92 snail mucin. I notice a difference in my skin, the tub is huge and it is @ $20. That brand deserves more love and attention!
little correction... the drunk elephant TLC night serum isn't an aha/bha blend its only a blend of AHA's. the sukari baby facial is an aha/bha blend. another thing if you were thinking of going back to the pixi glow tonic I might suggest the ordinary's 7% glycolic acid toner. I find for me, it's way more effective, and doesn't have fragrance and dyes in it like the glow tonic.
Not a big deal to peel the paper off the framed picture, it does not hurt the set up. then you can pull the glass out. I just did this. Worked really well.

For a cleansing balm try the Korean brand clean it zero line. It's soooo amazing. Removes makeup like a breeze and it's great for waterproof mascara. I have the purifying kind
I have really thin hair, and in high school my ends would split even faster, and I had to chop about 8 inches off my hair due to breakage. However that was when I stopped using detangler. I started using it again, and because of the protein added in (some) detanglers, my hair has been a lot healthier.
Agreed and Milani is such a better brand to support than too faced. Unfortunately they're kind of a sketchy brand. Not a fan of that much. The Milani one is literally AMAZING! Lol
For your decorative print in the back: look into static cling film for windows before you consider frosting the glass so you hopefully don’t ruin it. You might find film transparent enough to use, or you can use the film on your windows to reduce the glare. 🤷🏽♀️

I recently learned that the Clinique cleansing balm (and most cleansing balms) have PLASTIC in them to give them that texture. I don’t want to put plastic on my face, or rinse it down the drain, so I finished up my last tub of cleansing balm and will now only be using cleansing oil. Currently using the DHC one!
I've heard you can use your eye cream around your lips because the skin is similar. I don't know how true that is, but it was said by an esthetician who does RUclips - something to think about. The contact solution is the same I use. It has hydrogen peroxide in it - which is why you NEVER put it in your eye. The little cog wheel in the bottom of the case activates and bubbles the peroxide out of the solution. I love the hydro one way better than the original for dry eyes.
The suave mouse (green can that says captivating curls) is the BEST mousse ever. And its only a few bucks. My curls are nothing without it. I use high end shampoo/conditioner and leave in but the Suave mousse is mind blowing

Use matte finish modge podge on the glass. I'm pretty sure they have a spray version as well.

I have purchased dryer balls and a couple of the wool balls to collect lint and we don’t use fabric softener anymore-I don’t notice a difference and it is one less thing to purchase and it is suppose to be better for fabrics and help the absorbency of towels. To get that extra “clean” smell I do use the fragrance enhancers in the wash.
It's a grey day in Kansas too, but I have electro swing going on and am deep cleaning my kitchen. Taking a small break and then I will be deep cleaning the bookcases in my living room. Oh! A thought came to me to share with Tyler. My husband and I are hobby woodworkers who have made several pieces of our own furniture. When cleaning/polishing our pieces we use linseed oil. It is WAY better than Pledge or Method which can cause product residue build-up. Linseed oil will also make your furniture last longer too. At any rate, thought I would share. That’s my favorite contact solution, too. Costco often has the two pack with a travel size included. I just love this stuff so much - it does the best job!

Shelly - no. Not if it’s the brand shown in the video. I tried a knock off brand a few months ago because they were out of the one I wanted and my eyes burned every time I didn’t rinse them off first.
It's my favorite too! I usually get it at Costco for the better price.
I’m puzzled how this contact solution works; if your hands are completely clean and you don’t have to rinse the contacts; say it’s just one of those days, you’re running late and your eyes just hate you; your contact falls, or your hands are too wet, etc. do you need to use multi purpose solution for a quick rinse? Or are you doomed to wait another 8 hours?
alyssa hernandez - I do have a multipurpose solution on hand, just in case. Definitely don’t use this solution for those moments. But the solution cleans SOOOOO deep.

Jess, You should try using 3 wool dryer balls in your dryer....eliminates having to use fabric softener which builds up in fabrics. They also eliminate static cling, make our stiff jeans pliable, towels soft (don’t ever use fabric softener on your towels....they won’t be very absorbent), makes sweaters and clothes soft and are good for the environment. I’m still using the same wool dryer balls (made in America) I’ve had for more than a year... I don’t know how often you’re supposed to change them. Will have to research that.
Omg guys! Speaking about lash serum. I’ve always had really nice lashes. However, Mary Kay mascara remover makes my lashes SUPER LONG! You will not see results over night . But three months you definitely WILL!!!! Been using it for 20 years! Love you Jessica!!!!

I love Clear Care cleaning solution (peroxide based) too! It works so well BECAUSE of the chemical component. It penetrates contact lenses and kills germs and bacteria for strong disinfection and deep cleaning. The special lens case has a built-in neutralizer-a ring of platinum that reacts with hydrogen peroxide-that causes the peroxide to turn into water. The entire “neutralizing” process takes about 6 hours. After this, the lenses are safe to place in the eyes.
The best lash serum of all time is LiLash! I’ve tried a bunch including the GrandeLash one, but LiLash is truly the only one that works. My lashes are crazy long and full!

That Clear Care contact solution is a peroxide system. The pad on the bottom neutralizes it to saline after 6-8 hours. You should always throw the case away with each bottle. It can stop neutralizing after awhile. Then you have peroxide in your eyes. (Optician here 😅🙋🏼♀️)

The dollar trees in my area have little bottles with the press-dispenser like on the Ren bottle. I love them so much! I re-bottle all of my toners, rubbing alcohol, and nail polish remover into them.

1st: I'm not sure if Ulta is still doing their skin care sale, but the No. 7 line correcting booster serum was buy one, get one and I stocked up because I've been using it ever since you recommended it when you were first trying it!
2nd: I'm in love with the Method Ginger Mango. I use the detergent, fabric softener, beads, and dryer sheets because I can't get enough of the scent. I get soooo many compliments on how I smell at work. I'm a nurse and ot holds up through my 12+ hr shifts. I've turned a number of other nurses and patients on to it. 😍🥭

Been looking for a cruelty-free drugstore alternative for it. Plus I’ve been wanting to try the Exhibitionist mascara for a while now... This just makes me want to get the mascara even more! I feel like there is anti glare film that you can use on your picture (sort of like a window cling material). And those scent pellets are a staple in my life! I use them in my laundry bag when I travel, in my closets, in stored bedding and clothing. Just put them in little sachet bags and throw them anywhere

I think I remember you saying that you have a water softener. When you have a water softener, you don't need to use fabric softener. Plus you can use less detergent. Always fun to see empties videos. Thanks for sharing.
I was using Grande Lash and ran out and didn't want to spend the money at Christmas for a new one so decided to try castor oil. I ordered some Jamaican black castor oil from Amazon and I just dip my finger in and apply to my eyelashes each night. Wow, it really worked and it worked just as well as the Grande Lash. I just hope it doesn't stop being effective over time. It's been great.
Jessica!!! The Clinique Take The Day Off Balm uses a certain plastic that can’t be proven to not affect the environment after it’s washed off. I believe the Green Pharmacy one has that ingredient too. A really good one is the Then I Met You Cleansing Balm. It’s a Korean brand formulated with really good ingredients. It’s a bit expensive though, but it won so many awards so consider trying it. I’ve only heard good things. Plus the periwinkle-color packaging is cute too! Please try it and I hope it can replace your Clinique one. Love you!!

The clear care has peroxide in it that’s why you can’t use it directly in your eyes. It needs six hours in the container to neutralize before you can put the contacts on. I agree though. Best contact solution ever. The only one I could use before I had Lasik done.

You can buy pump bottles like that for your toner at sallys or even dollar tree. Right with the nail polish. I just transfer my toner into it as needed.

Trick for glare on your picture frame. Slightly angle the top off the wall. This will change the angle of the light reflection and remove the glare. Try a towel behind the top of the frame to test.

Jessica you need to try the Rapid lash eyelash enhancing serum. You can get it at Ulta. I have used a few lash serums including the grande serum and I can tell you the rapid serum is the best one I’ve ever used! You can totally see the difference, in lash length and fuller lashes. I have been getting compliments on my lashes or ask if I’m wearing falsies, when I’m only wearing mascara. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

little correction... the drunk elephant TLC night serum isn't an aha/bha blend its only a blend of AHA's. the sukari baby facial is an aha/bha blend.
another thing if you were thinking of going back to the pixi glow tonic I might suggest the ordinary's 7% glycolic acid toner. I find for me, it's way more effective, and doesn't have fragrance and dyes in it like the glow tonic.
Not a big deal to peel the paper off the framed picture, it does not hurt the set up. then you can pull the glass out.

For a cleansing balm try the Korean brand clean it zero line. It's soooo amazing. Removes makeup like a breeze and it's great for waterproof mascara. I have the purifying kind
I have really thin hair, and in high school my ends would split even faster, and I had to chop about 8 inches off my hair due to breakage. However that was when I stopped using detangler. I started using it again, and because of the protein added in (some) detanglers, my hair has been a lot healthier.

For your decorative print in the back: look into static cling film for windows before you consider frosting the glass so you hopefully don’t ruin it. You might find film transparent enough to use, or you can use the film on your windows to reduce the glare. 🤷🏽♀️

The Banila co clean it zero cleansing balm is fantastic. You can get it on yesstyle as well and there's no overpowering fragrance on it.
I recently learned that the Clinique cleansing balm (and most cleansing balms) have PLASTIC in them to give them that texture. I don’t want to put plastic on my face, or rinse it down the drain, so I finished up my last tub of cleansing balm and will now only be using cleansing oil. Currently using the DHC one!
I've heard you can use your eye cream around your lips because the skin is similar. I don't know how true that is, but it was said by an esthetician who does RUclips - something to think about. The contact solution is the same I use. It has hydrogen peroxide in it - which is why you NEVER put it in your eye. The little cog wheel in the bottom of the case activates and bubbles the peroxide out of the solution. I love the hydro one way better than the original for dry eyes.

The suave mouse (green can that says captivating curls) is the BEST mousse ever. And its only a few bucks. My curls are nothing without it. I use high end shampoo/conditioner and leave in but the Suave mousse is mind blowing
