Wildfires impact farmers in Maya Golden Landscape in Belize- May 2024

In the heart of the Mesoamerican forests, wildfires have left a trail of devastation, including the cherished Maya Golden Landscape in Southern Belize.
As climate change continues to impact our lives; homes, farms, and livelihoods are negatively impacted. However, for the Ya’axche Conservation Trust, amidst the ashes, resilience blooms. Farmers and beekeepers are rebuilding, with bees as their tiny but mighty allies. 🐝🌿
