The Cube in Arkham Asylum might of been a cut loading screen. When you transition to a level in B:AA you see some comic like drawings of the inmates in the game. So the Harley cube might of been a loading screen planned for the game but was abandoned
Cubes out of bound are usually made by developers so they can attach functions to them. It was most likely tied to Harley Quinn and that's why they textured it like that. Maybe they used similar textures for all dev cubes early on in development and this one just happens to never have been cleaned up.
In the Suffering: Ties That Bind easter egg it could also have another reference to It. The bathtub with the hand sticking out that flashes a few times could be a reference to adult Stanley who takes his own life that way in the book and chapter two of the movies.
I love the bowing sign areas in Tsushima. At a few rivers the sign is there too, and paying respect to them makes fishes jump out of the water, and at a few shrines that appears too, causing things to swirl around Jin, from flower pettles to butterflies
Heres an eater egg i noticed in Ghost of Tushima. Whilst walking slowly through tall grass, Jin will open his palm like in Gladiator! I love the game, i platinumed it and its gotta be GOTY

There's more of those BOW locations on *Ghost of Tsushima* one is in the duel ring your fight the female samurai for Tayadoris armour, and other is in a village next to a river if you BOW to them one spawn fish jumping and the other butterflies. Other secret shrines spawn fireflies and dragonflies. I would say more but are kind of a spoiler.

The frogs also appear when u bow at the frogs at the start of one of shrine pathways as well. There’s quite a few bow sites all over most produce red dragonflies or blue butterflies. I’m still on the bottom part of the map and have found at least 10 secret bow sites but couldn’t tell u where they r now

One of them you can find during one of the mythic quests for the armors where you find a hidden house inside a mountain. When bowing to it the leaves around you will activate. Another one activates a bunch of crickets around you. And i think there's another one but I can't recall what it was

In the mini golf segment, there is an Egyptian hole with a big pyramid on the side. If you go around to the back, there will be an entrance, when exploring the maze beneath you can find a mummified mr friend robot. It will follow your baby. And sunlight with make it fall apart. Pretty cool and creepy.

the Ghost of Tsushima stuff is a required for a trophy. The little signs with the guy bowing indicate that you are at a hidden altar. You need to find and bow at ten of them across the map. The crabs and frogs are just an in game confirmation of your bow being recognized.

I don't know if you've done this easter egg yet but in bioshock 2 there's an ice area in Dionysus park which you need the incinerate plasmid to access, there are multiple ice mounds against the walls and if you melt the biggest one next to the door at the back of the area you'll find a cat called Schrödinger inside the ice.
I think the wildlands Easter egg for the bunker is a nod to Stranger thing when Dustin locks the baby demo dog in his bunker outside. That is my theory as the noises are very similar.

Not a dev, but The box is likely an anchor for the game as the first asset, to get a base dimensions of how tall things should be. Those type of boxes have appeared everywhere so that’s what makes sense to me
In the tutorial of rouge company when you are using the guns for a test fire dima says “switching guns is a lot faster than reloading” referencing modern warfare 2 in the firing range.

The cube in Batman might just be a scenemanager of some sorts. Scripts need to be attached to an object in order to run in a scene, so I'm thinking they just gave the cube (which is a preset asset you can just use as an object you throw those scripts on) a nice texture so they didn't have to look at a boring cube at all times. Obviously, it would've been better if they made it invisible for release, but that's probably what it is!
