Hey man, I'd love to get back into drumming in between all of my training and working. Where would you suggest trying to find a cheap good quality drum set?
You wanna know why these are so valuable to me? I'm a guitar player who programs drums for my mixes. I don't know what the hell I'm doing with drums, so I watch these. I won't be able to play this, but I learn so much to program and increase my writing capabilities. So thank you!
Wyatt, it would be fun to respond to a songwriting challenge. You write the structure and time signature and let us download it and do whatever. I would love to see all the different creations. I am hereby a dedicated fan and I’d love an avenue to create music w you. You are a true inspiration. I’m a guitarist, singer, bass player, and an absolute amateur drummer. You make me feel like I can be a drummer too. I write midi drums w as much feeling as I can but wow if I could do what you do! Give us, your fans, a chance to write with you!! That would be sick!!
Would love to see you go over fills by Matt from ABR like the opening of The Eleventh Hour. Im pretty sure it's also a fraction fill. Great stuff by the way!
What's the difference between these fraction fills and the other style? When I play these they sound groovy and in time. I'm so confused. It's still 4 on the hands and two on the feet.
Great job on this lesson vid man definitely one of my favorite fill episodes dude i wish this video came out when I was in my first two years of playing I always questioned how drummer did that fill but anyways sick video bro I’ll catch you in discord later 😎🔥🔥🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
amazing vids your very talented .. Do you ever do a cover of other groups like Zeppelin or Rush and show how to play those groups ? A lot of people never heard of some of the songs you play . Like showing how to do the Bonham triplets on the kick .Anyway amazing vids bro
You know you'd have a much easier time just micing your drums and sample replacing rather than having to not miss a hit while recreating the playing examples. Mic the cymbals too. That way you can play what you want and just convert the drum mics to midi/samples after the fact.
@@WyattStav mics aren't expensive man? Look it up! A whole set can be found used for like $100. One of your videos would easily cover that I would think? Anyway just trying to help. Time is valuable. $100-150 would be well worth IMO Here ya go brand new www.guitarcenter.com/CAD/PRO-7-Drum-Microphone-Kit-7-Piece-1273887994629.gc?cntry=us&source=4WWMWXGP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyvaNoNKY4gIVA9vACh2Lwwa9EAQYAiABEgLQPPD_BwE
SiREN-DRUMS haha, just cuz they make em that cheap.. doesn’t mean anyone should buy them. The samples I use of my own kit were made with rented mics that if purchased new would run me thousands... this is just one of the mics I rented to use for the Toms: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MD421--sennheiser-md-421-ii-cardioid-dynamic-microphone I see and understand your point, I just have no intention in buying cheap gear. I’m tryin my best to do things the right way out the gate. No sense in spending money on cheap gear when I’ll just have to sell it used to upgrade down the line. Especially when I already have high quality NKIs of my own kit.... sampled by me. (So you actually are hearing how I would strike the drum which helps with syncing)

SiREN-DRUMS I do what I do because I don’t own mics... so what your suggesting isn’t an option. I wish it was.... it would make my life easier 😉

One reason I know people don't like my drumming is because I can only use the drums at school and I break their ears with all the crash hits i do.
