Searching For The Septic Tank | Septic Pump Out & Ditch Work

It's time for our septic tank pump out but there's a problem... I can't find the septic tank!

We have a pump and flat switch alarm wire in our clean water tank, the last tank in the series of four tanks.
I disconnected the wire in the house, and connecter an RF signal generator's output to the wire inside the house, making the wire an antenna
Then tuned the generator to the AM Broadcast band.
Out in the yard I swept the area with a portable AM radio and picked up the signal and traced it back to the pump tank.
Maybe that'll help someone else?

Don was that all ONE septic tank? My gravity tank system has 2 tanks, that second lid being closer to the house could have been your primary tank. Good work on the rain runoff project.

Yeah the septic guy explained it as one tank with two separate access points.

Thanks and yes, that's all our property. It's a temporary fix for now but at least the area around the house won't flood like it has when the big storms hit.
