I can't believe so many sadly have passed away from ARE YOU BEING SERVED? I have been watching it for a while and then I learned this year John has passed, I cried. He will alway be an icon.
I just discovered John and Are You Being Served recently, from DVDs at our library and I became addicted to them. All the actors are great, but John stands out as the very best. He seemed like a nice fellow in real life.

I was despondent when I found out John died. My Yorkie is named Mr Humphries, and DOES sleep with Paddington bear! I wish there was a clip of this whole show. This type of thing isn't done in the USA and who better to watch than John?
