    Impressive. I was fortunate enough to see Leo Kottke in concert in the 90’s. Your playing is great and so is your guitar craftsmanship! ❤🥰 Leo would probably be honored by this cover.

      Leo played this at Rockefellers in Houston in 1995 and brought the house down . Your presentation is beautifully played and well executed. Leo would be flattered.

      @@herring-instruments did you make the 12 fret guitar on this presentation ? Meant to comment on the tone quality which was perfect for Mona Ray. As a wannbe guitarist I never got past Crow River Waltz and Busted Bicycle but you certainly mastered Leos style of play.

    Outstanding. I just finished learning Kottke's rendition of Sonora's Death Row and I use Open E with some of my own slider trickery here and there.

    Really nice. Can I make an observation? You must learn to love the piece, from beginning to end

    • @switthoft
      @switthoft 2 года назад +2

      That's an instruction, not an observation. Is this offered in acknowledgement of the fact that you observe the performer's love from beginning to end? Or are you indicating that you think the performer should do something differently based on what you observe in this performance?

      @zatoichimasseur6767 2 года назад +2

      @@switthoft I think your first impression was correct; that his observation was that he loved the piece from beginning to end.
