When I saw all the pain and hurt behind that mask.. I got really emotional. (to the Empaths out there who saw this. Do you agree? It was like a knife in the heart for a second.. Horrible. So many regrets and so much pain behind those blue eyes and that nervous smile. Life is not fair. It didn't surprise me at all that he committed suicide.)
To all humans who go and carry this much pain. Please say something.. If you only knew how many we are trying to find people like you before it is to late. We won't charge. We won't extort. We won't try to lure you in with false, parodical religions or other lies instituted to controlling the masses.. Our payment is your well-being.
      Simple as that.

I have to say, I really like how these 50 people 1 question videos show the people walking away. For me, seeing them walk away onto the street again, into their own separate lives is sad. We never know what will happen to them in the few moments they're gone or even the next days, months, or years. I know we only heard a small piece of their lives but if you just think about where they could be wanting to go in life, how could anyone not wish them the best?

Notice how almost everyone's regrets we're something they didn't do rather than something they did do? Theres a valuable lesson in this and it's to seize the moment, live life to the fullest extent. It's far greater to have done something and maybe regret it than to have done nothing at all and wished you had.

A simple but very powerful question, it sends the questioned back in time to recall some tough decisions, you can see this journey through their eyes, its amazing, a lot of choices we make are often the right ones but we question wrongly what if.
The girl who failed to say goodbye to her grandad, is one we all should avoid, pick up the phone, make that short journey, to put a smile at the end of their journey of life.

That or they know that if they went back and changed their mistakes, then they would also be changing their future. I would never change anything of my past because I am proud of where I am and WHO I am today. Mistakes are things that humans learn from. We learn from our own, and others' as well. The past is the mold for the future.

So if, say, someone cheats on their significant other which causes their break up and they don't have regrets that would be totally okay and admirable?

I agree with you but I think it's just a defence mechanism. Brutal to call them liars as we have no idea what they have been through. True, everyone does regret something or the other. No human is perfect.

Fantastic little piece! I've seen a few different visions of this being done but this is by far the best. Such a simple idea, honest subjects, nicely shot, great editing with the perfect choice of music, class!

have so many, but the biggest one I would say is looking for peace and happiness outside of myself instead of looking inward. Trying to fill that hole in the donut. caused myself and people i love lots of grief.

Genius idea Kamil, you are one brave and gifted filmmaker! Laughed and cried in equal measure. I'm left feeling sort of connected to all these touching people Jamaican Brian, Sean Sean Sean and all the others, except for the angry "is that the question??" guy (what's his problem? He said "it better be a good question!" and by God it certainly was!). Cool about the couple who married a year ago after 50 years apart...what a wonderful video. Thanks tons

Not all of them. Some left thankfully. It may have awoken others that day and changed the way they thought. Not everyone is depressed.

Never have any regrets. Do what you need to do now! We grow old too soon and wise too late.

I was very moved by that film. A lovely piece of work . I felt close to the people I'd never met before in my life. The question was the key. Lovely production values too. Well done.
