Hi Zainab, allow me to tell you that while doing wudu', we should wash our hands to the elbow, and we only wipe on the socks if we've been already in the state of wudu' before wearing them, it has a certain period of time and the socks must be thick and covers the two bones on the side of the foot. Please double check, may Allah accept from you and us.
