I Fixed My Hilti Battery (And It Worked!)

  • In this video, I troubleshoot and repair a Hilti 21.6V 8.0Ah battery that was not working or charging. Initial testing showed it was only outputting 19.83 volts. Upon further inspection, I discovered that this was a refurbished battery from Lupo, with full voltage across the cell banks. After removing the top casing, I found a broken connection. Using nickel strip, solder, and spot welding, I quickly bridged the connection, restoring the battery to its full 23.89 volts output. This repair demonstrates how to diagnose and fix connection issues in Hilti batteries, bringing them back to full working condition.

    I think that the overall quality of the battery is good in terms of the basket housing and overall assembly, despite the strange-looking welds on the plates, if the welds are strong then it's OK,

      Agreed not bad didn't seem as nice to look at as an original battery but good enough

    Awesome videos! Just came across your channel. I have a hilti cordless vacuum 22-Volt VC 75-1-A2, i checked all parts for continuity and seemed good. But it wont turn on cant figure out why can u help please ?

      Is the motor working? Does the switch work ?

      @@doctorlefthandthread motor is good . Switch has continuity . I think its The battery port but im not sure how to test it

      @@antg7181 If it is a brushed motor just hook it straight to the battery and switch skiping the controller. You should be fine, its just a vacuum
