PERFECT intro video on bitcoin, great job!
Should have pointed out that Bitcoins are factorable... People might get scared away when they think that you can only buy things in denominations of the market price transacting only full Bitcoins.

You should change the TITLE because no one is searching for what is in the title.. Change the title to What is Bitcoin
1 Bitcoin is *not* "worth a hundred bucks". It is is worth 1 Bitcoin.
This era of change is not a dick-measuring contest to see what the exchange rate is going to be; Bitcoin is useful and it is a better product. Where the exchange rate goes is irrelevant. Decentralized currencies are here to stay!!
I honestly envy the pureness of this mindset. I started paying attention to crypto because I thought it could make me money on exchanges, only to later become enthused over the robustness and ethical advantages of decentralized currencies.
Ironically, I would probably have a lot more money in crypto right now if I was ideologically behind it from the beginning.
Its a problem because bitcoin's increase in purchasing power is coming from the hoarding itself. The velocity of bitcoin is very low, not enough to maintain itself if people stopped hoarding it.

All those trades you see on the exchanges? They are spending their Bitcoin on dollars, yen, etc... That's a small sample of people who are not hoarding. Tell us again how hoarding a currency that increases its purchasing power is a problem.
definately you are very welcome. also i would recommend not following david hensons advise. if you want to buy coins on coinbase than thats fine but dont store the there. they dont use client side encryption like blockchain so they could steal your coins if they felt like it. if you dont have any coins yet pm me your address and ill get you started.

definately. i always recommend new people to blockchain(dot)info/wallet/new. litearlly all you have to do is fill out 3 fields and you are ready to go (password once, password twice, and a captcha). also blockchain uses cliant side encryption so they never have access to your coins meaning they couldnt steal them even if they wanted and they give you a pneumetic passphraise that you could use to recover your coins even if their service goes down perminantly.
