I can totally feel Miss Kim on this! I first heard "Sweeter" when I was in Rehab in Memphis TN. That was September 2011. I now watch this video from Wahiawa Hawaii. Yes Hawaii!!!! Every day I too, wake up and see mountains, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Lamentations said something, "This is recall to my mind, therefore I have hope..It is because of God's mercies that we are not consumed. Because His compassions fail not, they are new EVERY MORNING. Great is Thy Faithfulness!!!!

Miss Kim Burrellthere is no other, one day I was feeling downand I was searching through the channel of looking for something to uplift my spirit and the song popped up sweeter, after that I had to find out who this lady was today out of who she is I've never heard no one I'm 61 years old I've never heard nobody take one word and turn it into something unbelievable, when when it comes to women singing gospel she is my hero I've never heard a voice sound like jazz something else then something else that lady got flavor she is number one that's all that's all to, Boss Tony macaron that's my signature.
This lady here is the best everybody know that to even say her name you need permission I'll talk about the real deal how about to say holy ghost had me crying I know God is good I had a 16 day blackout and you only thing happened to was I was being taken buy doctors doctors nurses turn on the news I see people getting harmed with their eyes wide open, my eyes was were closed for 16day, the only thing that happened to me was I was being taken care of turn my life over to Christ there was no other for me, I do not have the heart to take my wheel back highest praise hallelujah.Boss tony macaron that's my signature.

I believe in all God is getting the glory and I don't think many people understand that.

I enjoyed Pastor Burrell's video! I was listening to CoCo Brother Live on the way home from work and based on comments I heard I was afraid that the video wasn't glorifying to God. Wow! I was listening to some of the comments on Coco Brother on my way home from work and I couldn't wait to get home to see this video. There is nothing wrong with Pastor Burrell's apparel in this video. She starts the video waking up to God's presence and she has on a tasteful gown. Perhaps those that are complaining sleep in a sweatshirt and jogging pants each night, but her attire is appropriate. I love this video, she looks beautiful.
I love kim burrell and i love her spirit... i can understand the first impression of seeing kim in her night gown but i also saw her in the rest of the video with clothes on.. and she was talking about the Lord ... i still love the song and her actual cd... not every gospel artist is gonna come out with the same type of singing there are plenty of singers in the gospel industry that have pushed the envelope to get the word out.

Kim has given so much to so many through her voice, music and preaching. She has helped me and inspired me time after time. If she wants to be flirtatious why shouldn't she? It is natural for humans to be romantic. Blurring the lines between worshipping God and paying homage to a loved one is old news. 12th century sufi devotional poetry/music could be interpreted both ways. It brings non religious people closer to God and helps us to love each other as creations of God. We should celebrate Kim.
I remember the story of the woman anointing Jesus' feet with a very expensive perfume by using her hair. I also remember how He responded to her critics...
Not the same thing... This woman knew she was a sinner but knew she needed a savior and therefore was humbled and became a servant. She didn't try to use her womanly wiles to win Jesus over. Nothing wrong with being a beautiful woman and if God created you sexy there's nothing you can do about that but you don't use those attributes to help further the Gospel. Gods Word doesn't need any help from us. Give it to them plain and simple . Remember there are women being raped and murdered in the name of a god.. Imagine what some of those beautiful women are enduring for the name of a Demi god?? You never want to distract people from Gods Word. Of course I can see past the sexy shots and the lip puckering but not everyone is that grounded. You can be attractive and beautiful in a video but I think this is a little much...
