    Really hard matchup for sheik. Ryu doesn't even need to SDI for up air to not work because of hurtbox shifting so with SDI, its almost unusable. Risk reward is way skewed betweek the two characters, but either way it was a good match. well played by both players.

      Many of sheiks kill confirms does not work against ken and Ryu, raindrop, the new slowfall dragdowns, updraft feels like a 50/50, they can ignore parries by cancelling, and they need about two neutral wins to get her to kill percent, with one of the best anti-airs in the game being a kill move with invincibility frames, real tough matchup

    Man the fgc characters are so corny. Void is pulling some 200 IQ shit just to keep up and Ryu is just like "DOWN TILT, DOWN TILT DOWN TILT, EASY ASS CRAZY COMBO/KILL CONFIRM". I know he chooses to play sheik and she's notoriously the struggle to kill character, but it's still so stupid to watch someone win at this level with so much less effort. Entertaining set tho. Asimo is obviously still a fantastic player.

    12:10 Just want to say, you don't have to SDI these uairs cause FGC characters fall out of uair just because lol.
    Doesn't matter if it's Ryu Ken Terry or Kazuya.
    This is due to the fact that the Auto Turnaround they have SDIs for them aswell as theyre general hurtbox shifting making it weird for multihits.
    It's stupid lmao.

    • @eaa1338
      @eaa1338 6 месяцев назад +3

      Auto turnaround does not SDI for them. It’s just their hurtbox shifting.

      @@bancholeo55 and they don’t think about the situations where auto-turnaround makes it harder to use the FGCs.
      Like d-smash turning you around while you’re trying to 2-frame your opponent that is trying to recover, spacing with back-air is harder and slower, mis-inputting for someone doing a cross-up and having a backdash that for some reason lasts 30+ frames, before you can actually shield (this feels a tiny bit better with dashwalk, but it still takes a long time before you actually can shield after a backdash with the FGCs).

    The FGC’s are all BS, change my mind. Ryu & Ken have some of the easiest win cons. Just jab into an ultra powerful U-B kill move, may as well throw Terry in that mix too. Jab cancel-into special is so busted in smash. Sure as long as you can out range them and not have to risk getting up close then things are in your favor, otherwise good luck. SMH.

    • @carlos41519
      @carlos41519 4 месяца назад +1

      It’s simply a constant guessing game against them. They have weak arial movement forcing grounded gameplay. If you can play a good ground game with good discipline, you shouldn’t really struggle against them.

    • @riotron1026
      @riotron1026 4 месяца назад

      @@carlos41519 Yeah on paper that’s the case but again, if you don’t have the luxury of having a ranged gameplan against them then good luck. Lets be real, out of the two Void skill wise is above Asimo, and look at how Void got bodied.
      Yeah “Sheik struggles to kill” but even still.

    • @ColonelKiwi1120

    • @riotron1026
      @riotron1026 4 месяца назад +1

      @@ColonelKiwi1120 That may be true currently but in general void is no slouch and even if he isn’t as competitive these days you still have to be a really good player to try and use sheik at a top level so even if Asimo is better than Void atm I doubt it’s by much. Also doesn’t detract from my points about the FCGs, like at all. Like I literally just got done watching Jahhzo (A ken main ranked 93) take Light (Ranked 6) to a close G5. Light! What business does he have taking Light of all people to a G5?! 😂 The FCG bs can take you pretty far depending on the matchup which I can’t stress enough with Smash how much matchups and gimmicks can matter over player skill. This is definitely a characters first, player second sort of game.
