Vdrum Tips Hi ! Do you mind to explain how to make a diy 3 zones cymbal working with the RDB cable in that series? (sorry for bad english but i'm french) :)
Does anyone know how to fix self-choking on a CY-5? There are lots of videos for how to fix this on RUclips for other Roland cymbals, but those methods don't work on the CY-5. The cause is the same: rubber debris builds up on the sensor after years of use and causes the cymbal to self choke. The solution for other cymbals is to peel back the rubber and remove the debris, but unfortunately this doesn't work with the CY-5 - the rubber is glued on for some reason, whereas with other models it fits into a groove and can be easily removed / put back in place. Does anyone know of a solution to this?
Very useful and nice video!
Thanks
Can you do the CY8 next?
When's the acoustic to edrum series coming out?
I am on it:) It is more work and effort than I thought before. So hopefully at the end of next week or the following monday.
Ok. Thanks for the answer :)
No worries, I think i is really cool that people care and wait for it:)

That is tricky, even some manufactures fail to make such cymbals. But I alway wanted to make one. So maybe.
I love your voice
My choker does not why?
