"He's fine- he's sleeping on my sofa in the other room right now" and he literally saved his life? Bro if this is not the best example of what friendship is then I don't even know what is.
You did a great job Freddy. CPR is scary when you end up actually having to do it, and you did it anyway. It does take bravery. You helped bill and you should be proud.
Some one I knew died because his diabetes monitor just stopped working and he was sick before. Now he is dead not even 14 years old. It was on the new for some weird reason.
Hey man, honestly brave to talk about it so soon. Having to perform CPR on someone and essentially be the one trying to save their life can really be a traumatic experience. No one would blame you if you needed a longer break, you're a great friend dude.
Omg I Hope Bill is ok. This would’ve been so scary for all three of you. It is so good that Toby walked into the office and found him. Hope he feels better soon ❤❤❤
you did a great job Freddy! having to do cpr, ESPECIALLY on some1 you know is really scary! one time I had to do it on a friend and the whole time I was paranoid I was doing it wrong. hoping for a quick recovery, and good luck to you all! ❤
It's great to see these things being talked about. The devastating side of T1. My sister is T1, and about four or so years ago, she went through the same thing. Her levels were 0.7. Luckily, we had a glucagon (glucose injection for serious Hypoglycaemic shock), and the paramedics arrived within three minutes.
I hope he's okay, that sucks and is very scary. I can kinda relate to the being ill, as I've been having seizures, I hope he gets better. Lots of us are wishing him well ❤️🩹
My little brother recently had to be airlifted to the hospital bc of type 1. It was a very eye-opening experience, and I wasn’t even there when it happened. I can’t imagine what it was like.
Its great that you were able to help him, these are skills people should know. I know some first aid because I used to do Ambulance Cadets and we would do first aid at events as well, like arsenal and London Marathon and I used to help teach the younger cadets. Wanted to add : I'm glad Bill is doing better. I hope he keeps himself safe and is okay. Be so proud of yourselves for helping your friend out and saving him. CPR is not an easy thing to do as well. I'm so happy bill has friends like you and Toby who really care about him and act as is necessary in times of great need. you seemed so sweet and nice to him after and that's so lovely to hear. Also it's good that your mum was able to help instruct you and the paramedics were able to do what was needed. Also chorus of another one bites the dust work for CPR... but I'm not sure it would be appropriate tho 😅😭
I remember a high school friend of mine had a monitoring device for her diabetes and it really made the whole situation a lot less stressful for her and everyone involved-- it was a round little monitor on her arm and a scanner(? idk what to call it) that came with it. So she could use the scanner to check on her blood sugar levels whenever she wanted (without having to draw blood), and the scanner also had an alarm that went off whenever her glucose levels fell below or above a certain level. I can only imagine what kind of relief it would be, to be able to rely on something like that after years of just rawdogging a chronic illness, maybe bill should look into it
You did so well Freddie, cpr is scary. Never had to do it myself but have had friends who did and they said it was terrifying. It’s amazing how you and Toby supported Bill and you guys are such amazing friends, well donee ❤❤
❤ Take your time to process things like this it sounds terrifying but good job for helping also billzo I hope your feeling better ❤ Edit: also to billzo take you time to feel better and process everything ❤️
sounds like you all handled the best you could, I’m glad you all chose not to go immediately back to work and to process all that happened! best of luck and health to you all
I'd love to have friends like Freddie and Toby, I have many undiagnosed major health problems (we haven't had luck finding me a doctor to test me for things) and sometimes I collapse, sometimes I zone out but I'm literally kind of unconscious, when I stand up too quick I'm at risk of passing out, medical conditions are so scary and I hope bill is feeling better!
People take the piss out of t1, we face life or death everyday. You’re a great friend Freddie, so is Toby! It’s comforting knowing your friends will step up.
ou did a great job Freddy. CPR is scary when you end up actually having to do it, and you did it anyway. It does take bravery. You helped bill and you should be proud.
I know we joke about Freddie being a trained life gard and everything but genuinely glad he is or atleast glad he knew cpr, must have been really scary and I’m so relived that everyone is doing okay. 🫶🫶
I've got diabetes as well and let me just put this into perspective for u all. A normal persons bloodsugar levels are around 100-120, give or take. Ur bloodsugar is considered low when ur under 90. So having a blood sugar level of 1? Singel digets? That rly was close. I remember I was unable to rly move when I got to 38 once... So glad Bill is ok. I feel for him so bad...
I had diabetic friends in the past and let me tell u the way i GAGGED when I heard him casually say blood sugar levels of ONE cus he was super lucky to have survived that
I’m not diabetic but I’m confused why they had to do cpr if bill was still awake and alive? I thought they only did that when people go into cardiac arrest
@Probably_Asher Low blood sugar can cause a high and irregular heart rate as well as sudden cardiac arrest. Idk what exactly happened to Bill, but I know he talked about it on his first stream after the fact. Perhaps he explains what exactly happened. He might've been awake when they found him, but who knows how long he layed there... so yeah, a medic will get ready to potentially do cpr. Its luckily never been that bad for me, but I've had the high heart rate, being barely able to move. It rly does feel like ur body is shutting down while ur just flailing ; - ; Your body needs sugar in ur blood for energy. When ur sugar levels are too low, the heart starts pumping harder to transport it faster... yet if there is not sugar to transport, this fucks u up bad :/
Being resuscitated is a weird feeling. I had to be resuscitated while having an endoscopy done. My throat closed on the scope and my lungs started quivering before my heart stopped. They did cpr and I came too after 1min 23sec, i had ice packs on my body and was sweaty, they doc had to take the hospital socks off my feet saying i'm hot. Told them when i was in the icu why i had ice packs on my body and they doc said they weren't ice packs but hating pads. Which didn't make sense from what I heard the doctors were saying while i came too in the procedure room.
this is genuinely so scary. i just got diagnosed with type 2 and i genuinely had no clue it had the potential to get this bad. i wear a cgm and the lowest my blood sugar ever got was like 62, what do you mean 1???😭😭😭

in the video (13:12), freddie mentions that billzo is allergic to the adhesive, which might be why he doesn't wear one
Wow it's like Billzo's body doesn't want him to get better@thegender6690
from what youre describing im guessing you mean a cgm, continous blood glucose monitor !!
That must have been so scary, glad he’s okay hope you both are okay I’m so glad yous found him in time
Freddie, you did so good. I’m glad bill is okay and couldn’t have done it without you and tubbo. sending care and love to you all!❤️

I forgot he was diabetic and was so confused and concerned
hope bill and the rest of you guys are well ❤
Recommend skintac, it’s an adhesive barrier for cgms helps protect skin from med adhesive
You did amazing freddie. I hope both of you are okay💜
ou did a great job Freddy. CPR is scary when you end up actually having to do it, and you did it anyway. It does take bravery. You helped bill and you should be proud.
i didnt realise how serious diabetes actually was until this happened. terrifying!

100-120 is in american measurements, most of the world uses different ones. I think the conversion is divide by 18 so 5.5-7
I’m not diabetic but I’m confused why they had to do cpr if bill was still awake and alive? I thought they only did that when people go into cardiac arrest

yeah it's dangerous if your blood sugar is too low, people can go into a diabetic coma or cariac arrest. D: Glad he is ok now.
This was craaazy to watch live lol

It was probably in mmol/L and not mg/dL, aka 18
