There is nothing in the games that reference an in-universe book series. The first Tales from the Pizzaplex story, "Frailty," establishes a connection between Tales and Frights through Eleanor's heart locket. If FrightsFiction were true, it would mean that the Tales series is also a fictional book series within the games' universe. since there is strong evidence that Tales is canon to the games. Either the two book series are not connected or both are canon.
