Mitch, I have watched 100's of these viseos on RUclips, I normally just FF to the important parts. Except for yours. I watch every second. Your videos are extremely entertaining and I learn a lot. It is difficult to comprehend that you have not done this before. Martha, your bubbly personalty makes it a lot of fun to watch. Your filming and editing skills are exceptional.
I know this is now long done, but considering your ages, and you haven't got any experience in this I think you have both done a wonderful job. Love all your videos. You are an awesome couple. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to watching many more when they come 🤙
I've not built a van but listening to Mitch and looking and the quality of with that's been done... doesn't add up. The workmanship looks great, maybe it's just the fear of taking power tools to expensive wood, and creating something that you're unhappy with and think might need redoing? But honestly, look at what you've both done so far, it's just brilliant, especially for your first one. I think most people would be nervous on their first build, surely? You're both great to watch from a viewers perspective anyway, loving this series. Thank you :)
Mitch is his own worst enemy, we're been together for nearly 8 years and I didn't know how much of a perfectionist he was until we're started this build together. We were always scared of having to re do something with how expensive the wood is so i think that has always been on our minds. Thank you so much, we have been so nervous this whole way through, but so happy with the outcome!
OK Mitch you are WAY too hard on yourself! :-) Your build is perfection! The solar install is SO clean and organized and amazing looking! Truly wow, you should be so proud, and even more so that it was your first build ever, wow!!
Top effort guys, the electrics look great and looking good (nothing better than craftmanship - well done Mitch)… slowly but surely ya getting there and all looking fab :-)
Mitch... Don't doubt yourself, man! :D I don't often comment on videos, but I am SO impressed with the work both of you are doing! And the sheer quality of the everything that Mitch is doing is AMAZING. You have inspired me to get going again after a few months layoff... Thanks for these impressive and honest videos, and I look forward to following you on your travels when the van is finished.
Wow, thank you so much for such a lovely comment🥰 and thank you so much for following us on this journey. We’re so excited to share more of our lives when the build is done and see where this new van will take us!🚐
Well done guys it’s looking great. Just a thought, I was a custom fine furniture maker for fifteen years and I would be stressing with fitting stuff to the odd shapes of a van so give yourselves a pat on the back for a job well done and be proud of your work!
Thanks so much, that comment really means a lot. It's always scary to put yourself on the internet, nevermind doing something you've never done before and have no experiencing in so thank you☺️
Really enjoyed this vlog. The van looks fab and seems to be really well built. The layout works so well. Looking forward to see it finished. Keep up the good work!
Wow it's brilliant your workmanship and an eye for detail is absolutely brilliant top marks to both of you you have done a top class job. And i can't wait for you both to start enjoying all your hard work it's going to be so good watching your New adventures in your new home. Have a great day from Geoff and Sam.
I've owned 6 campers (and a caravan) . The first four campers were all air cooled veedubs... one was a splitty... I've also converted two vans to campers, a high-top Renault Trafic and an LDV 400 Luton... my advice is simple... if you're going to live in it, a permanent bed is essential as is a semi-private loo... I'd recommend a separating toilet... the pee can be poured into the bottom of any hedge, and the more solid stuff will go into a bin in most places (in a bag obvs!).. Don't fit water tanks to the vehicle itself... it's often easier to take a 10 gallon tank on a trolley to refill it, or empty it, than it is to move the whole van.... If you find a water tap in a churchyard or allotment you often can't get the van there. Fit solar! Solid fuel stoves are worth considering.. the installation might cost a bit more, and take up space you don't want to give up, but the ability to wander into the woods, find a standing dead tree, and lug it home for free heating is hard to beat!
Hi Guys, what a fabulous channel you have, you should both be so proud of your work, it all looks amazing, can not wait to see next weeks episode. All the very best from Nick in Wolsingham.
Hey, the build is absolutely great and I'm going back through your videos trying to get more ideas! Where did you get the tile strip thing from for the kitchen please? (if you don't mind me asking!) Thank you!
Just came across your build videos and it looks awesome, that's a great job and loving the shower design. I do also really like that colour on your kitchens units can I ask what paint and colour you have used
We used these off ebay: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404283470382?hash=item5e212c322e:g:LoQAAOSwDx9kW1EY&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8MRYz3iaP1i%2FJxVFf5jD%2BU8K86T9bzFbel5DCmGdT%2FOn9H52hFk%2F8RtV7DBIBz62M9oqTOmHa8Si5K4WBpPKGweETjP7wouGi5yoK%2FOJctuUvSOVaBD9tZnt2h1QqWEoBmIV0ubZbjRWR3kRTUJKp5ITA7D1XVBRCdDchhFRu5%2B2Bunb8A5dBWq%2BAu46A5%2BBM9Uy%2F2ZSRK2YrUvHR9BpTdFjU%2B9kf%2B6x2NAAcQn0eNaJhp5jD8R10%2FfFnaqSOn%2FjaNGrvW0NUAagXLVVrqucXhTdBPLeEz9DOCPybpbURxAJUgEkza38SBr%2BEJBPCyDTSg%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4CJxP7LYg

Mitch you have done a great job and love your van, where did you gget your lightweight plywood from?
Hey, the build is absolutely great and I'm going back through your videos trying to get more ideas! Where did you get the tile strip thing from for the kitchen please? (if you don't mind me asking!) Thank you!
Just came across your build videos and it looks awesome, that's a great job and loving the shower design. I do also really like that colour on your kitchens units can I ask what paint and colour you have used
Awesome, thank you! We used Lick paint. Green 02 in Eggshell: www.lick.com/eu/product/green-02-eggshell-paint
Top job. How much does it weigh though ?
Cheers! Haha it’s to be weighed shortly and we’ll find out…🫣
What did you use to get your overhead cupboards stay open, so you don't have to hold them?
We used these off ebay: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404283470382?hash=item5e212c322e:g:LoQAAOSwDx9kW1EY&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8MRYz3iaP1i%2FJxVFf5jD%2BU8K86T9bzFbel5DCmGdT%2FOn9H52hFk%2F8RtV7DBIBz62M9oqTOmHa8Si5K4WBpPKGweETjP7wouGi5yoK%2FOJctuUvSOVaBD9tZnt2h1QqWEoBmIV0ubZbjRWR3kRTUJKp5ITA7D1XVBRCdDchhFRu5%2B2Bunb8A5dBWq%2BAu46A5%2BBM9Uy%2F2ZSRK2YrUvHR9BpTdFjU%2B9kf%2B6x2NAAcQn0eNaJhp5jD8R10%2FfFnaqSOn%2FjaNGrvW0NUAagXLVVrqucXhTdBPLeEz9DOCPybpbURxAJUgEkza38SBr%2BEJBPCyDTSg%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4CJxP7LYg
So you can be LOGGED on and DOWNLOAD while using the loo. 🤣
😂😂😂
Hi, great build, can I ask what type of white paint you used and was it put on with a brush or roller?
I’m having a nightmare on my pure white quick dry paint being a finished in Matt and gloss patchy finish, its a water base paint I’ve used
Thank you, it was johnstones quick dry satin and I mainly used a roller. Worked really well to distribute thinly to then layer up!
can i get a link to that table please guys
Hi you 2 really great following your adventure i've yet to start mine, just buying every to fit into it, can i ask where you got the lifpo4 battery please
Its from a company called Fogstar, another battery in similar value is from a Company called Roamer. They both are often on back order so make your purchase early on 😃
@@TheJammyGits thanks for getting back to me, I am actually off grid as I live on a boat, the van will be just an extension of boat life
Please 😁can you do a review on the Truma after your fab buld is complete.
Yes, we’ll keep everyone updated with how all of our appliances get on once we’re living in the van full time and they’ve been used a fair bit😁
When's the next video dropping ? 👀 P.s notification squad 😅✌🏻
Tonight at 7pm GMT... It's a long one, but it's the finale!🎉
