Are you using water with your strokes etc. I’m not a painter but desperately trying to find release and add colour when I might feel down. Would love to see you make a how to video or pointed in the right direction for a totally green novice like myself. Keep making these great videos thank you!
Many thanks for your kind comments. I only use a little water and because acrylic dries fast I blend colours quite quickly. I may do tutorials in the future. Good luck with your art.
How do you get your colors so light and vibrant? I tried doing this. My yellow looks thick and flat. Did shade of blue did you use, and what did you mix with it? Thank you! Love your work! :)
Pick bright, thick consistency colours. Paint on white background. I used turquoise and cerulean blues I think. Only used a little water and work quickly. Thank you!👍🏻😊🎨
I love how the colors gently merge on top of the finer detail! By the way, is this a painting of a real person you've seen, or is it purely imaginary, or some combination thereof?
Many thanks! I use a small amount of water with my acrylic paint and build up layers. Use fixative on your pencil sketch to stop it from disappearing 👍🏻🎨

It’s a combination. I used a reference photo, then added colour. When painting these portraits, you never know what the final outcome will be👍🏻🎨😊
