I love the porch, it has a outside fireplace, love the entrance, love the living room w/ the fireplace, a double face fireplace, love it, love the kitchen, love the bathroom w/ that brick backsplash by the tub/ shower, and the floors, love the bedroom and the master bedroom w/ closet, ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Lovely cabin! So pretty and beutifully decorated! Love the porch so much. Two suggestions: 1. Take away the cabinets over the refrigerator. It is dangerous to tall people and medium height people. Maybe just have a smaller cabinet over the fridge, but not past it. 2. Extend the lean-to in back so that it runs the whole length of the house (not including the porch), and now you can fit a little half bath by the back door.
This one is great, the only thing is the placement of the refrigerator. I would like a little counter in that space , then maybe place the fridge at the end. 😊
Agreed. That cabinet sticking out above the fridge would be painful for anyone tall. Turning the fridge under it & continuing the countertop to where the fridge is now would easily solve that. A small microwave & the coffee maker could go in that corner space, too. I think possibly using some of the laundry room space & or the master closet space for a powder room would be helpful, also. Otherwise, nice little place.
Bedroom sizes could have been decreased somewhat to put in a 2nd bathroom and create a Master suite. One toilet for 4 or even 6-10 guests in the home while entertaining, just doesn’t cut it. Otherwise, this is an excellent floor plan with all that I want (but the 2nd bathroom).
If you rearrange the living room furniture, there's space on the wall opposite the fireplace for the TV. I'm not fond of countertop dining. There's space enough for a table. One much-needed item that's missing is a powder room. In a two-bedroom house you should have at least a second toilet.
Am I once again missing a half-bath? If so, there appears to be enough room at the end of the entryway for one. If there truly is only one bathroom, sooner rather than later someone IS going to have a distressing and embarrassing accident. Also, I’d be tempted to add a small private deck off the master bedroom. Lastly, where does the dryer vent?
I'm 64 years old and have never lived in a home with more than 1 bathroom...no accidents that I can ever recall. It's amazing how we cannot differentiate between "needs" and "wants".
I like it, but I'd move the pantry by the stove over to where the fridge is located, then put the fridge in the pantry's old spot. Or, I'd open up that notch cut into the kitchen between the sink and backdoor.

Agreed - better would have been to turn it 90º so it opens into the room, move it closer to the edge of the wall where the shelving is currently, and extend the counter space and add another bottom cabinet. Swap the positions of the shelving and the cabinet in the corner to better access the cabinet (which right now is in an awkward position for a shorter person). This would also create a better workflow in the kitchen.
I like this plan, but what is that whole extra space by fridge, is it storage for the back porch? It looks awkward and like a waste of space…the fridge door looks like it would be hard to open all the way out….if you utilized all that wall for more cabinet space, maybe a small pantry, pushing it toward the back door, the counter to could move forward too, so it isn’t so close to the living area. A little tweaking in the plans would make it a perfect home, including adding a half bathroom for the house. But, I like the plans.
Hey Design Students - these are really gorgeous - especially showing how aesthetics, planning, and custom can really make a difference in a small space .. but can you all please pay attention to humans using or walking through the spaces? - floorlamp in the living room near the kitchen bar (as shown) just wouldnt work -

This is one of my favorites!
It's is a great floor plan. It does need a half bath and a pantry, though. I would remove the dining counter and replace with a real dining set.
Absolutely, love this one!

I love the wraparound porch. Kitchen is nice sized. I like this floor plan.

Exactly what i was thinking!

Very nice floor plan
Thank you for putting the TV above the fireplace! I'm not a fan of having tv's in the bedrooms ❤
A tall person would hit their noggin gettin into the fridge😅
Nice

Not a big fan of the kitchen cabinets. What was the design process with fridge and odd shelves 🤔😱🤕?

Odd placing of the refridgerator.

Why is there no real dinning space?

Nice where is this at 😊
It's a computer generated house design plan.

How lots of interior mistakes, shelf over frig you'd be hitting your head, chairs around peninsula you'd be on your knees to reach. . .
Why an outside fireplace, such a waste.
