Sketchbook Tour! | 2016-2017

That’s right! Another Sketchbook Tour! But this time from a few years ago. I started this sketchbook at the end of 2016 and finished in April 2017. I love painting and creating in my sketchbook because I get a chance to improve my skills and keep up with my art. Looking back at this sketchbook was really nice and a great way to touch on memories and see how far you have come with your art. I hope this inspired you to get back into drawing and painting in your sketchbook! Keep experimenting and creating! Remember that everyday you draw/paint- you are improving!

So many amazing colour schemes again. The red head dress and the purple fade. The two portraits in limited colours. I’m blown away by your use of watercolour. I wish I could capture so much energy in my washes and brush strokes. I just ordered my first sketchbook. Moleskin from your recommendation. I’m so excited to start working on filling it. I’m also nervous because the standard of your work and other artist is so high. Inspiring and intimidating at the same time. I’m just going to enjoy myself and hopefully I can create something I can be as proud of.

weeeww I looove the drawing of the bicycle-portal (especially the first one with the blue tones, I feel like there's a little more "expression" to it somehow ?). I had an assigment for school where I had to draw like a double spread full of bikes, and it was my first time actually drawing a bike. And I never knew I loved to draw bicycles so much xd now when I see one I start analyzing it and telling myself "hmm yeah that's a niiiice bike, like the angle, if I had my sketchbook with me I would've drawn it such a shameeeee" xdd so weird.
