Good video...for the guy asking alot about the FWDM... an FWDM is a multiplexer multiplexing in this case is combining 1550nm ,1490nm and 1310 nm, CATV uses one downstream wavelength because the TV is only receiving signal and not uploading anything to the Headend... for the data traffic traffic is bidirectional anytyme you click on a link or browse the internet you are sending probes to the websites and therefore that traffic is transmitted to the OLT using the 1310nm wavelength, and when the website responds to you that traffic is transmitted from the olt to you using the 1490nm wavelength...
