Funding for Architecture Students’ Travel Research: the RAMSA Fellowship

RAMSA Research team members Arianne Kouri and Spenser Krut held an information session for the 2023 RAMSA Fellowship on March 1, 2023.
They reviewed recent changes like the addition of an optional residency program and the new eligibility requirements (the list of eligible schools was expanded to include all NAAB-accredited schools in the United States; students in the penultimate year of a degree program in architecture or a related discipline may apply to the prize).
They also discussed the theme of the fellowship and shared what the jury looks for in research proposals and portfolios. A question and answer session with previous recipients-Anna Antropova (2014 Fellow), Wilson Harkhono (2018 Fellow), and Radu-Remus Macovei (2019 Fellow)-followed the presentation.
