If done right I agree, but when it first came out for phones and was super accessible it was overused. This gave me a distaste for slo-mo, but in recent times it’s more tastefully used, so I’ve started to enjoy it more.

And before people get rattled by that price that is a absolute fraction of the price of the next leading professional slow motion camera. Six grand is a steal of a deal for its capabilities

Since we are a tattoo channel and I am debating getting this camera, I would love to see a tattoo being done in super slow motion. Needle to skin in 1000 FPS that would look amazing.
I would film a ton of B ROLL for stock footage . Just too bad I can't afford this bad boy. Maybe some day. Smoke. Water. Micro tube lens underwater and food coloring. Drinks pop up. Anything that looks casual to the naked eye and has details with this camera is worth shooting. I probably would max out my TB storage in just a few days lol
In archery there is a term "surprise release", now, if you get your head outtadaguttah, a surprise release refers to holding an bow and arrow on target and building backtension until the release aid triggers the firing of the arrow. The first time I used a hinge release to shoot a surprise release it freaked me out! it would have been priceless to see my face at that moment!
Daniel how do you control your fstop using the Sigma 24-70.? Since the chronos doesn’t support any lens electronics ? You recommend an adapter? I currently own a Rokinon 50mm w the chronos but my focal distance is limited. I would like to get a tighter shot and I have to punch in post.. suggestions ?? Lens.?
I would use this camera to film commercials for companies to make money for a living. Damn…. I might just do that actually cause now that I think about it, I feel companies would pay me to make commercials for them🤔

Before you all run out and spend $6000 on a 1000fps camera, remember you need a TREMENDOUS amount of light to expose that properly.
I mean that scene didn’t look TREMENDOUSLY lit and it still turned out great

@@weinberglerthey probably increased the light when they actually shot or the cameras they used for the BTS we saw first had fast shutter speeds
