Great Vid. Just dropped my rear sub to replace brake lines. Helpful seeing everything clean and colored so I can figure out what to drop, clean up and put back!

I need alot of new parts and this looks so clean. did you have to weld in alot of panels underneath the car?? I have ALOT of welding that needs to be done

@@JoezGarage I have a whole playlist of videos on the car. I haven’t done a final video of it but I do have the last video of it wrapped.

Hi, Any chance you can help me out, I was looking at changing the two large bushes either end on the "Y" shaped diff guard, as it turned out I just could not get the old ones out so end up buying a pre owned one that had uprated bushes already fitted, it's all fitted now but I am getting some serious vibrations throughout the car at certain speeds and revs, would the uprated bushes cause this or is it likely to be something else, I have a 2003 WRX Wagon.
    Kind regards
    Shane

It could be sending more NVH through the cabin. But what I’d maybe do is put it on a lift or 4 jack stands and drive the car and have yourself or someone else watch under the car and see if you can find the cause of the vibration.
It could also be the driveshaft not being installed the same way it came out. Did you mark the orientation of it before removing?

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply, I didn't actually remove any drive shafts or the prop shafts as we managed to just lower them and slide it into place, It only does it in two gears, in both 4th and 5th around 40 mph, yes it's under load but didn't have it before the change.

SUBJECT VEHICLE- 2004 Subaru Forester Non Turbo
    Answered Some questions:
Thus was the first of your videos for Sub's I saw. I just saw your rapture video so I know the under-coating.
    New Questions:
1)Why did you use rapturevs other under-coating
2)Do you have a video of the rust and rot repair on the under-body you did before using the rapture under-coating
What is the under coating you are using and how badly was it rotted so what did you use to treat the rot?
So the differential carrier\ sub-frame is that the same gauge and material as factory original and then you just rust treated it and painted it?
Better Question: I want to just buy pre-made body komponents and the differential carrier\ sub-frame but not the same cheap krap that is kurrently from factory. Who do you recommend.
Kan you refer me to someone a site that acktually makes REAL Subaru frames to make it possible to do a body on frame to replace the uni-body garbage?
