I know what you mean by "chosen". I feel it too. To me it seems like the more knowledge I gained, the more "chosen" I felt. I go back and forth on whether or not that is the correct word to use. this is what i'found out myself after reading the scripture piece by piece, although i'do want to say that even in the Father (the old testament)like Jezus says he shows his love. yet we dont understand, a good example is with the explaining of slavery you can see how the father wishes for it to be if the isrealiten purseaded it strict but just and fair but we humans fail to be fair and just yet stay strict to the enslaved and misunderstand this part of gods wisdom.

The focus on whether you’re chosen or not is the wrong way to look at this whole “what it is to be God’s chosen” thing. Christ is the Chosen One, chosen as the True Man on behalf of all mankind. It’s not about you being chosen. It’s about Him chosen on your behalf. Simply behold Him in all that you do, and all that it is to be chosen of God will become your entire way of life.
We shouldnt be worrying about being the chosen ones. We shoukd only live our lives according to what is written in the bible. We also shouldnt concern ourselves with trying to show our righteousness as the pharaisees did. There is a difference between genuinely wanting our brethren to know the truth and exerting that knowledge to make them look bad. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. If we follow in his footsteps and worship him we will be saved. If we follow his commandments we will be given crowns that we will be able to throw down at the throne of God and worship him. Dont worry about lifting yourself above everyone, but bring up everyone willing to hear the word of God with you.

People were saying the same thing forever, with each great war people say it is end times. In the west one may argue that homosexuality and debauchery, all the sodomy means we are aproaching end times, but on the opposite side of the world civilization looks differently. Okay now be for real... Jesus had anger. Don't you remember him flipping the money changers tables? It's called righteous anger. And if you don't have it your spiritually dead. You should care for your brothers and sisters soul above all else. And when they're doing things that takes them away from God, that righteous anger should rise in you. But that doesn't mean you yell at them. That means that you lovingly lead and guide them towards the truth.
And Matthew 5:29 actually reads "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell." And that has more to do with desire.

I would like to say that God actually says to allow yourself to get angry but not to sin not to go to sleep angry and give a foothold to the devil. Anger is an instructive emotion like anything else and to be angry about the things we ought to be angry about is correct. God Himself is angry with the wicked every day.

The devil is trying to sow seeds of doubt and worry and anxiety in my mind as to whether I am in the Will of God in thinking these ways. Obliquely he is attacking me.
If we cannot trust the book to properly explain the ten commandments when they were written how can we really trust the book at all. The fact certain parts of the book are explained in latter biblical books. Make the Bible seem like a bit of a mishmash of stories just a try and cover things up. Example the ten commandments have the death penalties which is not very loving. It's quite extremist. And the mishmash of editions make the Bible seem untrustworthy
The fruits come after the works. Not the other way around and will never. God will not force you into eternity with him. That choice is yours alone.

After studying mythology, history of humankind and history of religion I can tell you quick ways to know if you are chosen or not:
On short, the chosen ones are highly intelligent and able to extract deep meanings from anything and interconnect with other meanings.
1. If you read the Bible and understand deeper meanings that make you awe, you are a chosen one. If you read some verses or the entire Bible then go tell everyone Jesus died for our sins and they should love him, you are not a chosen one.
2. If you feel like you are doing enough just by believing in God, you are Not a chosen one.
3. If you cry when you see people using Bible words just like words and fairy tales, you might be a chosen one.
4. If you don't know about the duality of life and the importance of the numbers, you are not a chosen one.
5. If you think Jesus was an extraterrestrial, you are probably Not a chosen one.
6. If you think all the stories in the Bible( or most of them) are real actual events that actually happened, you are definitely Not a chosen one.
7. If you don't understand the Bible is a collection of stories(like the Bible itself says they are "gospels"), you are not a chosen one.
8. If someone tried to open your mind about the Bible or God and you had an emotional or dismissive attitude about it, you are definitely not a chosen one.
9. If you cannot understand the meaning and reason I listed these, or have an emotional or dismissive (i know better) attitude, well I hope you can at least figure this one for yourself ❤
Terrible blunder on #6. Most of the stories are indeed actual history. The forces of evil try to turn them all into metaphors so eventually people think Jesus didn't actually incarnate, live on Earth, die for us and raise from the dead. You can't simply "study" yourself into having true faith.

He only needed a few to really understand what he was saying, the rest were just to gather masses.
