Even though this wasn't fireworks, I was in charge of operating the fog machines and special effects for a musical play, and it was pretty tricky to get all of those cues done perfectly. Of course, I've made a few mistakes, but most of the performances went well. Firing to live music is difficult! And stage effects have the same timing concepts as pyrotechnics. Luckily I had cue words in the script to listen for so it made the job a whole lot easier I've also had experience on a few professional fireworks displays before. I've worked on mainly hand fired shows and not any computerized ones yet. I'm excited for the day I get to work on my first automated show.

This is amazing I love these videos. Ever since I was 5 I wanted to be a pyro. Also is it just me or does this episode really stress you out.
