Jak and Daxter 3 Theme Orchestra

- Quite a few people have asked me to do some Jak and Daxter, I have played them but not as religiously as some of the other games from my childhood, so it was difficult to choose I chose this one because I felt I could expand on it, I liked the vibe and I remember Jak 3 the most clearly.
I hope you guys like it, I'm sure it won't be the last Jak and Daxter track I do.

I have heard this theme a lot in my life, this has got to be the best version yet, nothing is more satisfying than getting the run you want and hearing this ;)

This sounds like a triumphant return, more thing anything else, I really felt it in my heart.
The original theme always sounded like the very end of the series, as a trilogy, the end of the adventure, hopefully more will come in the future, but Jak 3 will always feel like the very end of the series, thanks to this theme.
This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my life. As a Jak and Daxter fan I had given up hope that a new Jak and Daxter game, but this beautiful rendition rekindled that hope for me. All I can say is thank you for this amazing rendition of the Jak 3 theme and it is definitely the definitive version of the song. Thank you.

I wish there were a fourth but unfortunately Frontier was never remastered let alone properly published and 4 was ditched for Last of Us

This is one of my 3 favorite songs from this game. Though I feel like it wouldn't be complete without something like War Factory, or Volcano. I'm not sure the sewers song Is even remakable, it's so iconic.

Ugh this song was done so damn well. It just fills me with joy. I've listened to this so many times but your version just breathes life into this masterpiece, and gives it the shine it deserves. Cant and wont get over how great it is. Thanks for reminding why I loved this game so much.

They way the instruments play off each other and the choir sound makes this feel like a James Horner score.

Also! While Josh Mancell did compose the music in Jak 3 and other games in the Jak & Daxter series, in Jak II and Jak 3, Larry Hopkins did the cinematic music along with the opening and ending tracks.
Larry did an astonishing job with this piece; very triumphant and exciting to listen to after a long journey.
I've been in touch with Larry recently so I'll be sure to show him your cover and let you know what he thinks.

yeah but it is one of the most memorable tracks from the game, none of the pre Uncharted games released by Naughty Dog really have a series theme but they do usually have a memorable track. This is one of the reasons why if you tell someone to hum the Crash Bandicoot theme they usually resort to humming the theme music used in Crash Bandicoot 3 and The Wrath Of Cortex
NotOrdinaryInGames I was inclined to agree with you when I first saw your comment, until I finished my replay of the game. In this second half of the game, I've heard this track appear at least thrice during heroic cutscenes, sometimes in a mellow fashion, as well as in full form during the final credits.
In the least disrespectful way I can put it, this sounds extremely shallow in comparison to the original. The snare drum at the start has no dynamics (apart from the rolls which accent the "and" of the beat for seemingly no reason). Needless changes to the original melody that frankly sound more like transcription errors than creative adjustments. The dynamic balance between sections is just off, probably both on an arrangement level and a mix level. The fact that the orchestral library you used sounds good actually plays against you, because there are expectations as to how an actual orchestra would approach this, and they are definitely not being met. This arrangement is just not good overall.
