👍🏼 Saludos

Epic name! Yeah for sure you could. Grab a 135 Nomad and you would be set I recon.

Hello Rygo, I have question regarding kitesurfing board. I have been kiting for 3 seasons and I’ve been using 139cm freeride board (eleveight process). It is very good board, but I tried my friend’s stiffer boards like eleveight master and duotome Jaime sls and they felt much better so I want to buy more aggressive board now and there is my question: is there a board that would be good for big air AND unhooked, if the answer is yes what would be the best size for a board that I want to use in big air and unhooked? I am 75kg and I would prefer 135-137 for big air and 142-144 for unhooked. Should I just go in the middle for 139-140?

@@przemysawmarciniec5180 Those are all great boards. There is no perfect cross over. Both disciplines ask different things from a board. That said, if you’re doing footstrap freestyle, you could use something like the Airush apex for both. It’s a good crossover big air / freestyle board. Fast, stiff, excellent pop with the carbon stringers in the team version. There is just enough rocker for hard landings but not too much to slow down freestyle progress. It’s epic when your lit and fast / stuff for regular freestyle.
I like to use a 147 board that is long and narrow with decent rocker for freestyle and a 138 that is faster for big air days.

For me, the Airush Apex 141 would be the perfect crossover between Big Air and freestyle.

Where do you get the 2025 AK Nomad V2 already? I don't see it in any shops yet.

@@maxemmer Great eye! It’s a demo sample board. Epic boardsports in Cocoa beach and others will have stock in the spring.

I am on the old trace 1600 5 aspect. Can I upgrade to the nowadays HA 11, which size -1350 ? It will be used for waves as well, usually small choppy waves...thanks

@@vim55k The new generation is a huge upgrade. You’re going to be in for a treat. 1300 is a great step down. The new tracer is actually higher aspect than the older generation. The new masts are more responsive, the wings have better range and less drag. The 1300 has more stability and lift than the average 1300. It should be a nice transition for you.
Regardless if you switch to a tracer or the HA plasma there will be a small learning curve.
Larger wings have lots of lateral stability when doing water starts so sizing down you will have to get used to more response from heel and toe pressure or from your knees when water starting.
You’ll love the extra glide in those small waves and the maneuverability of something smaller.
